"Excellent self contained unit (clair). Had everything we needed for self catering. Was warm, comfortable and quiet. Bed was great and location was perfect for exploring nearby national park. Only downside was no free wifi. Would definitely recommend."

"An unique opportunity to stay in an historic property in the Bothwell area. This place has a comfortable feel with antique furnishings and modern ensuite. The golf setup was pleasing to those interested. Half the guests during my stay were golfing. There is the option for a communal evening meal in the modern events room which has a lovely view of the countryside. The food was good as was the conversation among the guests.There was a reading and historical backgrounding on the property. It is peaceful. Would stay again!"

"We booked one night in the lodge. The instructions for check in were easy to follow and our room and the communal areas (kitchen and bathrooms) were very clean and presentable. The lodge is right right next to the restaurant and Altho we did not eat there, the food smelt delicious."

"This was a great stay between Strahan and Hobart and close to the Mt Field National Park, where we did Russell and Horseshoe falls. The accomodation was clean and very comfortable. It was great to look over the fields where the alpacas lived to the mountains. The accommodation had everything we needed to be comfortable and we were instructed on what was available food wise before we came, as there are not many options once you get to Maydena. Highly recommend this place to stay."
