This was our best stay by far in our years of traveling. The owner was always available, and the house was well stocked and very comfortable. I would recommend this stay.

Cute but dated cabin. Beautiful views, quiet. Plan to bring ear plugs and eye mask if you sleep in the loft, it’s wide open to the lights and sounds below.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this comfortable home. Nice view of the mountains from the front deck, wall of front windows and the loft. Comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. Quiet neighborhood and lots of space to walk our dogs. We watched deer from the back upper deck each afternoon. Peggy (owner) was super nice! We would definitely stay here again.

Great location in Ouray
This house is adjacent to another house yet was very unnoticeable. Everything needed for a family is available in the home, and everything worked properly. My only concern is the lack of response to email s via VRBO for check in verification prior to driving 2000 miles. However, once in the home there is a very good summary of necessary info. I would definitely recommend this location for couples and families looking for quick access to incredible hiking and ohv trails.

Beautiful cabin less than 5 minutes from downtown Ouray. Great location! The cabin had everything anyone could ever need and more. Washer & dryer came in handy. Everything was clean and communication with owner was quick and she was very friendly! We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay very much! It was comfortable and clean with all the amenities we could have asked for. If I had one complaint, it would be that the photos made it seem more secluded - it didn’t mention that you share the deck with the garage apartment next door, or how close the other cabins in the development were. The photos of the house itself were also a bit misleading about the size.

Pleasant stay in Ouray
The house was very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. We had a few friendly mule deer visitors and birds galore. The home was perfect for me and my 2 friends. Thankfully the weather was very pleasant and we only needed fans to keep the home cool during the day. A note to the Owner: The box fan in the downstairs bedroom doesn't work. Also, I would recommend a window A/C unit for summer time.

Didn't meet value expectations
I'm writing a critical review, but be sure the place wasn't terrible. upon arrival at about 3 in the afternoon we walked in and the place had to be at least 85 degrees inside. Lo and behold there is no air conditioning as is the case in a lot of Colorado mountain places. However this was unbearable even with the windows open and the fans going. The heat pretty much made the upstairs loft unusable during the day or even at night. So we ended up using the two bedrooms downstairs. The other thing about the upstairs loft was even though the jacuzzi tub was in the master bedroom there's no shower! so I thought maybe I'd go sit out on the porch for a while to escape the heat from the inside and a swarm of mosquitoes attack me. I looked through the house and there was no mosquito repellent. Actually went and bought some and left it for the next person who was going to stay there. Another thing I had to go buy was toilet paper. Really. You think that the place would be stocked with toilet paper. Nope. it would be nice if you said toilet paper not included. After we went out to eat and came back and cooled down a little bit we decided to watch some TV which even though it advertises there's TV the TV is not full HD and the screen is probably a 20 inch screen. again at the price per night value proposition I would think that would be a nice HD 40 inch 50 inch TV in the living room for you to enjoy while you're relaxing at night. the kitchen was nice a really good refrigerator but beware don't use the oven we did we thought we'd bake a pie and of course it heated up the whole house for the rest of the evening. also don't plan on using the kitchen outlets to plug in your phone chargers and etcetera. The GFI circuit trip in the middle of the night every night. on the upside, the place is located in a wonderful little village a couple of miles outside of town. When we drove up we saw a deer in the backyard some Chipmunks on the front yard and we got to meet a wonderful dog named Misha.. I would definitely recommend this place if you're staying in the fall or the winter time or even the early spring but in the late spring and summer if it's sunny outside the angle of sun on the wall of Windows means you will not be able to avoid the heat in the room. It would have been nice if they had one of those portable air conditioning units like so many other places around town do. Next time we come to town I'll be looking elsewhere.

Perfect home away from home
Peg’s Place was a perfect spot for a home base as we explored the Ouray area. Minutes from the shopping & many restaurant choices downtown, the cabin still maintains the feel of a country cottage. All 3 bedrooms were comfy & the kitchen well stocked, with all appliances, including the grill and the dishwasher, working appropriately. We loved sitting on the large deck sipping our morning coffee or afternoon cocktail, while reading , chatting & enjoying nature. When our GPS failed to find the home due to a road closure, Peg drove to where we were & personally escorted us to the property. She was so welcoming , I felt more like a guest than a renter, which was far different from many Airbnb experiences I’ve had in the past. Working with Evolve was also seamless . I’d been unsuccessful trying to book the place from Airbnb but a simple call to Evolve solved the issue. We had a wonderful vacation & throughly enjoyed the homey feel of Peg’s Place. Highly recommended.

Very nice place, convenient location
This is a beautiful home and a convenient, centralized location - skiing in Telluride and ice park /snow shoe in Ouray. Ouray Hot Springs are the best after long day of hiking. Unlike other hot springs, there is no sulfur smell.
