A pleasant oasis in central Finland
This place has been around in one form or another for many years, and the experience of the staff shines through. A welcoming afternoon tea and a sumtuous breakfast were just two of the standouts. The beds were excellent and the facilities all in good working order. Would happily stay there again if visiting the region.

I was in the main building just off the breakfast area / restaurant. The included breakfast buffett was good and hearty. I happened to be in Oulu when it was warm and the in room air conditioner that you needed to exhaust to the outside manually was one item that some may not care for, but I had not problem with. The place had charm and the staff was really awesome

Clean, nice staff, convenient access from the airport and the city center. And free of charge gym that you can exercise. Air conditioner is about trick to use and ventilation cannot be stopped and it makes sounds.

Kaunis, pienehkö hotelli. Melko hyvä aamupala. Huone oli kuitenkin pettymys. Se oli siivottu huonosti ja oli todella ahdas ja kostea. Lämpötila sahasi kylmästä kostean kuumaan. Kylpyhuone/ wc rakennettu huoneen sisään ja se oli todella epämiellyttävää. Huone oli selkeästi yhden hengen huone. Olisin ottanut toisen huoneen, jos olisin tajunnut asian ajoissa. Mielestäni hinta-laatusuhde ei ihan kohdannut. Ymmärrän kyllä, että hotelli on rakennettu vanhaan rakennukseen ja ratkaisut ovat silloin rajallisemmat. Huoneen olisi kuitenkin voinut siivota hyvin, kalustaa järkevämmin ja miettiä ilmanvaihtoasiaa hieman.

Erittäin mukava tunnelma ja hlökunnalla hyvä yhteinen sävel. Huone kodikas ja hieno suihkuja wc, juuri saneerattu, iso tv ja parkkis pihalla. Kaikki toimi. Tulen toistekki!

Parkkipaikasta ei varmuutta
Huone oli siisti ja kiva. Aamupala aivan loistava. Ainoa miinus oli, että parkkipaikat olivat täynnä ja molempina öinä auto jouduttiin jättämään tienvarteen. Toisena yönä vielä vähän kauemmas. Parkkipaikat olivat täynnä, koskka oli pikkujoulukausi ja talossa juhlijoita. Parkkipaikkoja ei ollut erikseen varattu yöpyjille. Neuvona oli, että auton olisi voinut siirtää myöhemmin, kun pikkujouluvieraat lähtevät, jos olisi sattunut vapautumaan paikkaa.

Lopultakin pääsin vanhainkotiin - ja pois!
Olipa mukava yöpymiskokemus - vaanhainkodissa. Oli ilo olla hyvin rakennetussa historiallisessa rakennuksessa, saatettu moderniin käyttöön hyvällä maulla. Ruoka oli hyvää. Kun tulee asiaa yöpyä Oulussa, tähän hotellin majoitun. Plus iso etu - takapihalla ilmainen parkkipaikka. Suosittelen!
