"Good choice for our stay"

"Stay was ok but just ok not great There is a heating controller on the wall by the door that doesn't work I eventually found a control on the radiator to turn up the heating The window was locked in an open position and therefore unable to lock out the noise from the road"

"We arrived early but checking in was no problem. Very nice people. Food was nice too. Unfortunately we weren't too hungry so didn't get to sample the wonderful breakfast we read about. But the poached eggs were perfect. We stayed in a cabin which had everything you need for a short stay. It was warm and the bed was comfortable. The only thing I would say is the basin in the shower room was so small and awkward to use when brushing your teeth. A small niggle. Shower was fine, and very large. "

"Just perfect, We were not sure when we booked as it was just a place to stay while we visited friends, but if we are in the area we will go back the accommodation was spotlessly clean. The shower was lovely. What can I say about the pub, well all pubs should be like this. The staff were brilliant and the food was amazing. I don’t ever do reviews as I think I will do that later but this time it needed doing if I could give 6 stars out of 5 I would. Nothing is to much trouble and you are made to...

"Great room, external to main pub, so we were able to access it well after midnight (after Latitude festival)without any issues. Great breakfast and very friendly hosts"
