"I cannot overstate how amazing Bayfield house is. Our multi-generational family was perfectly at home in the generous layout of the house. The annex provided a quiet and separate space for our children to have fun while the adults relaxed in the great room. Every room was appointed nicely, and the en suite bathrooms were wonderful. "The property was as advertised and very secluded on a peninsula. The lake is quite with great sunrise and sunsets. Mike (property manager) was easy to get ahold of and pleasant to work with. "

"We had a love stay on the outskirts of Oughterard! The property was quiet and remote and very enjoyable! Only thing I would say is we were a little confused on how to access the property at first because the address given stops at the cottages. I would also have liked the property manager to be more responsive, but the local contact was very helpful! Over all, this stay was great and will be incredibly memorable for a long time!"

"This georgian house is impressive but in great need of some TLC. Mary the house keeper/property manager does a great job of keeping it clean and tidy but there are serious things that need addressing in order to maintain the house: the house has damp - stained peeling wallpaper shows this, as do the mushrooms growing out the beam by the front door. I'd urge the owner to get this under control before it takes hold of the property. A few features in the description are untrue: there is no games...
