The farmhouse is situated on a working ostrich farm 20km from Oudtshoorn, the ostrich capital of the world. With all the open spaces and lovely climate of the Karoo this is truely a resthing place for body and soul. Within a 40km raduis you will find the world famous Cango Caves, Cango Wildlife, Calitzdorp Hot Springs and a whole lot of wine routes.George airport is 80km away and the beautiful coastel town of Mosselbay just 90km.Came and have a visit and see for yourself why the people came back for more.

Serene Tranquility
This property offered so much more than what was listed online. The house is spacious and comfortable. The host could not have done more for us. Great hospitality. Sitting on the porch, bird watching and listening to them sing was very peaceful and relaxing. The cherry on the top was when Dirk took us into the breading chamber and showed us the little ostriches hatching on the working farm. No commercial ostrich farm offers that amazing experience. If you are looking to get away from it all, this place is just the treasure you are looking for. Many thanks Dirk for an amazing stay,
