"we were welcomed as we always are - we have stayed over many of the past years and witnessed the changes to the hotel. However the quality of food and service has not diminished but has updated over time. Good hotel for a holiday hotel, not just for a one night stop-over."

"The accommodation itself was lovely, easy check in. Peaceful and very secluded, perfect location for a quiet stay. We drove for 7hrs from the UK, with this as an overnight stop. We had intended to eat at the hotel restaurant upon arrival, only to be told we couldn't as the chef didn't have enough stock to cater for two extra covers! So after an already long day of driving we had to get back in the car and head to the local town in order to have dinner! Rather disappointing."

"The hotel is located in an ideal location for great walks in the forest and lakeside. It’s clean and well appointed. Would stay there again but would not fall for the front desk trick! "The hotel was generally tired looking and in need of an update in corridors and rooms. I expect much more from having stayed at many other Novotel hotels. I would chose an alternative to stay. The restaurant and food was good and staff very friendly and accommodating, although they did manage to get my food bill wrong, but made good with no issue."

"I arrived after 10.40 pm and the hotel closes at 10pm. They wrote me the gâté code to enter And informer me the room Door was going to be open ed... Unless someone was in room and therefore i wait ed 30 minutes until someone gave me another room without any personal excuse. Same thing the next day when I met the young guy made the mistake of switching the rooms. Overall old and not so clean.... Not worthy the price. "

"Hotel du Monde staff were very helpful on arrival. Our apartment was a 5min walk from the centre,so there was easy access to places for eating. Our apartment was in a beautiful old building and it was stunning to walk into.We had an equipped small kitchen, small living space with a terrace. The bedroom boasted a beautiful 4 poster bed with tv and a roomy en suite with a power shower. Toiletries were complimentary and smelt delicious! We returned to the main hotel the next morning for breakfast. The breakfast room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Staff were very friendly as they explained the breakfast food,which was the most varied and delicious spread ive seen in a hotel. There was a vast choice of cereals,yogurts ,breads,pastries or cooked food ,and teas,coffees and juices. Everything was just perfect. We only had one night in Nantes but we would love to return to see more of this beautiful city and of course,stay longer in Hotel du Monde. 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟"
