"We had a great stay. The accommodation is a short drive to many Loire Valley towns, attractions, and shops. There’s a small grocery store 2kms away in Monteaux selling local produce, including baguettes, vegetables, cold meats and wine. The Chateau du Chaumont is just across the Loire River. Great markets in Amboise and Leonardo da Vinci’s residence at Chateau du Clos Lucé is must with children - an exciting educational and immersive experience .
