"We loved this little house on the lake while we were in the Detroits Lakes area hiking in 3 of the MN State Parks. The size and location of the house was perfect for us, and the furnishings were warm and inviting. From chilled bottled water in the refrigerator, to a sweet hadwritten note from the owners with the gift of a grilling mat, we felt like we were cared for as "family". Being able to walk out the backdoor down to the dock in the early morning with a cup of coffee and watch sunrise...

"We came for a girls weekend. The property had beds for all seven of us. The lake is beautiful and clean. The house had everything we need. The bar and kitchen well stocked. We did have trouble finding a bottle opener, but we found one on the can opener. The kayaks and paddle board were great. Nice quiet neighborhood."

"The property was peaceful. Lots of birds flittering about. If you like to fish, especially for bass this is a great place. Every 2 hour trip I took out I caught 10-15 bass. All 3.5+ pounds. The largest was over 5 and I had multiple that size. The location of the fire pit right by the lake was a perfect end to the days. Will definitely be booking again. There are some minor spruce up repairs to be made but communication with the host indicated they plan to do those this year. "

"I invited several of my friends from out of state to come experience a true Minnesota Lake Weekend, and this place ended up being great for it. Check in was easy. The backyard is fantastic, and we had a fire in the fire ring on the beach nearly every night. A lovely surprise was that the sand on the beach extends into the water all the way out past the end of the dock, no muck in sight. Water was beautifully clear as well. One thing that surprised me was that the bathroom for the bunk rooms is...

"The place wonderful for our 10 people that stayed there. Very clean and comfortable. We had plenty of room inside and outside by the fire ring. The public boat launch is right next door to the canal. We plan on going back to stay there again next year."
