"Stunning pub, restaurant superb and the rooms were amazing, clean and very comfortable. The only downfall was the tv in the room didn’t work. Reported first thing this morning and they had a replacement straight away. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend "

"Lovely location 5 mins stroll into the city and cathedral. Located opposite the River Stour weir and park is locked every night at 5pm so well maintained and quiet. Host at the Millers arms were fab catered to gluten free breakfast each day ( advise on booking in). Lovely location and away from bustle of the city "

"I like its history and the Staff are excellent. I disliked: a) Wasting so much milk. I only needed a small spoonful. b) Morning shower.......the water was tepid at the most despite the fact that I reported it and was assured it would be better next day. c) Noisy, especially on Friday night. I could feel the bedroom floor vibrating. d) I found the dinner menu very limited after the first evening. "

"Very nice pub/hotel, nice log fire, lovely room’s, and big big old fashioned bath tub in the room, large bed, only drawback no television in the room.very limited lunch items available, the same with the evening menu, very small presented and very expensive steak meal,breakfast was tasty but very strange to have no marmalade offered or a refil of tea/coffee and the full english was very small. Staff were very nice"

"Stopped overnight enroute to LeShuttle, very convenient just off the M20, in a village. Room spacious and comfy, with good quality tea/coffee. Enjoyed a tasty meal downstairs in the restaurant. In the room you could hear the people in the restaurant talking, but it was silent after 10pm (and they do provide earplugs if needed). "A very comfortable 3 day stay in this Village Inn with very warm welcome and friendliness throughout - informal but professional. Cleanliness of both room and bathroom excellent with some extras provided in both. Food and menu also excellent. Ideal location to visit Canterbury (Park and Ride close by and very easy) and nearby coast. A lovely stay. "
