Good for adult family
A great site for adult family members to get together. Enough dining space for everyone, and a well-appointed kitchen. The living room was cozy, slightly lacking in seating, but works if some are willing to sit on the large soft rug.

Lovely home with qualifications
First, our host, Margie, responded quickly to our inquiries and was accommodating, 5 stars. Her property is a beautifully renovated, clean and well-maintained home built in the 1800s, five more stars. Unfortunately, the home predates a local highway that runs directly in front of it (less than 20 feet from the front bedrooms). Eighteen wheelers travel this highway 24/7, creating noise that scared us out of our sleep more than once. This problem might be remedied by using the quieter, back bedrooms upstairs, but, it was a rainy, hot, sticky July 4 weekend, and the upstairs was uncomfortably warm and stuffy. Although the property description includes window A/C units, none were installed. To be fair, we did not raise this issue with Margie and just stayed downstairs where it was cooler, though noisy.

NEAR PERFECTION
The house was wonderful, though the living room sofa and chair were not a good fit for my height. I would have preferred a site more secluded, on the water. Nevertheless, this stay was so relaxing. The home was stocked well and any questions were addressed promptly. I would stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at this property. The property manager was prompt and helpful and the house was beautiful. Would definitely go back!
