"This property is beautiful and the location is perfect for exploring the Black Forest. We did experience a couple of challenges, but the host was fantastic and did everything he could to put things right and quickly. It is very isolated here, so no nipping to the shop, but it’s exactly what we wanted. Kids would love it here. So much for them to do. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"The best gite we’ve stayed in, with lots of lovely small touches. If we were really picky the pool could be a touch bigger, and there would be seating outside rather than on a covered terrace (which was hot in the heatwave we experienced). But this place comes highly recommended! The wine couldn’t be more local, and the owners Richard and Monique and their family can’t do enough for you!"

"I LOVED House Mayfa! After making the cottage my home for 65 nights I was very sad to leave. It is on a quiet road that dead ends at an old dairy farm. Neighbors are quiet and respectful. There is no shampoo or shower gel but the hand soap(!) in the shower. The breakfast at 9:50 was empty (should be till 11:00) and was not renewed, considerable luck of the serving personal at the restaurant, actually gust one girl."
