"Easy to find in a small village location, nice people & good food. The hotel is non English speaking so Visitors need to understand & ideally speak German. The rooms are comfortable, a little old style but is undergoing a refit this year (2013)"

"Amazing hotel. Situated right in the centre of town, free breakfast (inc sparkling wine) along with pool and sauna which were great for relaxing. Dinner at the hotel was also great and good value of 3 courses for €49. Very clean and modern the only criticism would be there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms in the main building therefore the rooms were very hot. "

"Our host home was beautiful, clean and in a garden-type setting which we all enjoyed! There were seven adults and the rooms were very comfortable. Having two bathrooms was a big plus! Our host gave us two fabulous suggestions. First, sunset on the North Sea Beach which was amazing and second, the restaurant Bistro Varele Schleuse, wonderful food!! We highly recommend staying at this residence, the host was lovely, we very much enjoyed her company!"

"I liked this hotel a lot but the sun was shining, I'm not sure there were many in-hotel facilities if it had rained though but it didn't so all was good. Room 115 was adequate, I don't like the fixed cheap shower/hair and hand gel dispensers and think these let good hotels down, and also makes for extra packing to bring our own, or having to buy some there which is also annoying. "At the edge of the shopping and dining area, so it was quiet but close enough to walk everywhere. Bike rentals are at the information center right next to the hotel. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful "
