This modern apartment is suitable for 6 people and offers a beautiful view of Ostend beach. With public parking at the door, the apartment is easily accessible. With a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room with large windows and a lovely dining area, this is the perfect base for an enjoyable stay on the Belgian coast. One bedroom has a murphy bed. The bathroom is accessible only through this bedroom. Restaurants, stores and of course the sandy beach of Ostend are within walking distance. Crib and high chair for rent.

Despite the small population, the port city of Ostend is very lively and full of entertainment, it is located only 35 kilometers from the Dutch border. It is a good idea to visit the Kursaal after a nice day at the beach, where you will find entertainment, variety and excitement in the concert hall, restaurant and great casino. There are excellent shopping opportunities in Ostend, such as in the famous Chapel Street. Some cultural treasures, including the open-air museum Atlantikwall, the museum ship Amandine, the church of St. Peter and Paul, Fort Napoleon and the former, royal summer residence are definitely worth a visit. With your children you can go to the cinema or visit an indoor playground.

Tolle Wohnung mit Blick auf das Meer. Sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Check in war problemlos, einparken Erklärungen wären noch ganz schön gewesen, z.B. über die genaue Position der Ferienwohnung innerhalb des Wohnobjektes, gefunden haben wir es dann irgendwann dennoch :-) Wir haben uns als vierköpfige Familie sehr wohl gefühlt.

The apartment was very bright clean lovely view over the sea, tram stop 300 yards away parking not to bad on str outside but could be difficult in peak season all in all very enjoyable, only issues the office for keys could give more advise about the setting up of Wi-Fi and any issues that church happen in th apartment

Schöne Wohnung, aber einiges hat gefehlt

Zunächst einmal das Positive: Die Wohnung ist hell, renoviert, und die Lage am Meer - mit Meerblick vom Wohnzimmer aus - und zu Ostende ist toll, man kann viel unternehmen, bummeln und ins Restaurant gehen. Das große Wohnzimmerfenster ließ sich jedoch nicht öffnen. Die Küchenausstattung ist minimal: Weder ist ein Toaster vorhanden noch ein Wasserkocher; es hätten auch ein paar Küchenmesser und Weingläser mehr sein dürfen. Durch das riesige Schrankbett im Schlafzimmer kann man leider die Badezimmertür nur zur Hälfte öffnen, dann stößt sie ans Bett. Das größte Manko aus unserer Sicht war jedoch, dass die Wohnung vollkommen unbeheizt war - bei Außentemperaturen zwischen 9 Grad nachts und 14 bis 18 Grad max. tagsüber. Gemütlich war es deshalb in den Innenräumen nicht. Die Hausverwaltung hatte am Mittwoch nach unserer Ankunft geschlossen, ebenso am Freitag. Danach haben wir es aufgegeben, mit ihr kommunizieren zu wollen. Deshalb vergebe ich nur 3 Sterne - im Sommer wären es wahrscheinlich 4 gewesen.

Short stay in Oostende

We loved our stay at this clean and well furnished flat. The living room was spacious and comfortable with a panoramic sea view. The flat was right across the beach where you can have long and enjoable walks. We would highly recommend this property.
