"If you want peace and tranquillity this is for you! The wildlife was just fantastic, watching the swifts give such a display by the pool, and a very close display of kites and buzzards as the farmer was cutting the grass - just incredible. Most mornings we saw the dear/s in the lower fields. And of course the little bat that decided he would sleep under the wooden terrace during the day. A work in progress
"Set in a slightly tired area and trying to improve. The bar and restaurant area has been nicely renovated. The hotel is a work in progress and the renovation work in the rooms is clearly done on a very tight budget. It feels like it will continue to improve. On a positive side the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. The area is OK but has seen better days."
