"It takes a bit of a drive to get into the property from one the more bigger roads but it is what makes this place so charming and beautiful among stretches of vineyards. The food and wine here were also amazing. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Rooms are super clean and charming as well. Loved my stay here and would definitely stay again!"

"Our stay at Borgo Sant’Ambrogio was heaven! We were welcomed so warmly and made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. The Borgo is absolutely beautiful, super comfortable, and located in the middle of Tuscany with gorgeous views. We were very close to both Pienza and Montepulciano! The on-site restaurant was delicious and creative for dinner, and breakfast was also wonderful! The whole stay was magical! A very special place, not to miss while traveling in the area! "

"Where to begin? For starters this property is even more beautiful in person than in the incredible photos shown here. It is very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped. Many people had left helpful cooking ingredients. The location is perfect. We were right across the street from a multi-generational, family owned & operated pastry/coffee shop. The women who run it are lovely, and the food/coffee was so yummy we went there every day of our weeklong stay. We easily walked to delicious restaurants, a park with an incredible view, the Piazza Grande, and tons of great shops! (If you are shopping for leather goods, La Bottega del Cuoio should not be missed!) We cannot say enough good things about Stefano, the guest house’s host. Not only did he drive us to and from the train station, but he also took us grocery shopping. Stefano is kind, fun and very helpful. He even offers very reasonably priced guided day trips and can teach you how to cook as an Italian. He is a host with many talents! We highly recommend Stefano’s beautiful guest house! So much so, we will come back and rent it again!"

"The Villa di Piazzano is stunning down to the smallest detail. The staff is attentive, pleasant and helpful. The food and wine at the onsite restaurant was some of the best we had on our 23-day trip across Italy. One of our favorite stays for sure!"
