"Our stay was a very relaxing experience. The owners were very quick to respond to any of our questions and concerns. We did misread the listing and thought the house faced the lake in some way, but it's actually across the street (a very small street mind you) so it was a very quick walk to the actual lake. This is a lived in home so there are personal items like family photos around the place. The place was very clean and tidy, however it is an older home so it has its quirks. It felt like we were kayaking on our very own personal small lake so it was peaceful. The lake had quite a bit of algae mostly near the shore but the kids did swim a tiny bit in the middle of the lake. The lake was about to be drained and cleaned which I imagine will take a few years to get back to normal. However, the house was in the process of getting an above ground pool so we're excited to stay again in the future."

"The accommodations were wonderful!! Oversized living room with book and board games and the patio and pool area was a hit for everyone plus the game room was a great area and lower family room. There was something to do for everyone!!! Definitely recommend it!!"
