"A great little place for our base camp, as we hunt the nearby state properties. My 80 yr old Dad loves to tend the small wood stove. TY Linda & Larry for the extra touches. The stew in the crockpot when we arrive is a welcome after a long ride in from Vermont. "

"This hotel is rather out-of-the-way unless you are visiting Madison (which is itself rather out-of-the-way) or are just stopping along the freeway. There is not much food nearby except for McD's but there is plenty several miles away (not walkable but an easy drive). We were in fact visiting near Madison and knew our way around to various restaurants, so these limitations were not a problem for us. The hotel itself is well-maintained, the bed is quite comfortable, the elevator works just fine (not true at one of our hotels on this trip), and the breakfast is quite good. The staff was quite friendly, too."

"We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this pristinely kept cottage. Everything was perfect! From the front porch, to the whirlpool tub and an added bonus were the 2 cutest little pooches to meet and greet us and visited us each day and even joined me on my nature hike. Nice firepit a."

"Perfect little home for our stay. Grocery store right across the street and gas station. Also next to police station. Some traffic noise during the day, but quiet at night. Furniture and beds very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!"
