In addition to the Alpe di Siusi, the Sellaronda ski area with state-of-the-art lifts can be reached in 40 minutes by car (22 km). The area also offers fantastic cross-country ski trails and toboggan runs. South Tyrol's beautiful capital city of Bolzano (Bozen) is 45 minutes by car or 40 km southwest of Ortisei (Sankt Ulrich).
