"Nice house in quiet mountain village. Close to Sotres and Cares which can be reached by car, local bus, or walking. Host was helpful in providing local information. There is no Wi-Fi in the house, but we were able to join our hosts network, sitting on the bench outside their house a short walk away."

The historic home is perfectly situated between the mountains and the sea and a short walk down to the river Deva, where we enjoyed a refreshing swim. We spent one day enjoying the sun and waves at the beach outside San Vicente, and the next hiking the Senderismo a Tresviso, a tough 3-hour climb up to the town of Tresviso that starts about a 20 minute drive from the house. "The property smelled badly of smoke, which is not something we can deal with well at all. No WiFi either. All not helped by very poor weather which made the whole experience disappointing"
