"We spent Christmas here with our dog and found the property suited us in every way - a large secure garden for the dog (with access from both the living room and bedroom), lovely spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen all in a peaceful location. We were able to visit Strasbourg and Colmar very easily from here and also enjoy the Rhine and discover the lovely town of Gengenbach. Delightful hosts next door."

"This is a perfect holiday location....the apartment has everything you need & was spotlessly clean. Gengenbach is probably the prettiest town we saw in the Black Forest & a fantastic base to explore the region. We stayed 11 nights & used the train on the Konus card scheme every day bar 1.....great for taking the stress away & having a German beer or 2! Anja was fantastic in welcoming us & giving lots of tips on where to eat etc....she was always at the end of the phone if we had a question....

"This semi-detached house is high above the village of Fischerbach in a very quiet location on a loop road (the nearby church bell does ring fairly early in the morning). The house is stylishly and classily decorated and equipped with high quality furniture and fittings. The kitchen has really high standard appliances, cutlery and crockery and things such as an electric whisk most rental houses don't. Cooking, towels and other essentials are generously provided for. "Wir haben als Freundesgruppe Urlaub gemacht und es war perfekt! Besonders der große Wohnraum hat viele Möglichkeiten geboten. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter hat reibungslos geklappt. Wir kommen gerne wieder! "

"Der Weg zum Haus ist super vom Vermieter beschrieben und sehr abenteuerlich. Das Haus steht in absoluter Alleinlage am Waldrand und direkt vor dem Haus beginnen die Weinfelder. Traumhaft schön. Die kleine Auffahrt direkt zum Haus (ca. 50m) ist sehr steil. Vom Parkplatz vor dem Haus geht es ca. 50 Stufen durch den Garten zum Gebäude. Das Außengelände und der Garten könnten etwas mehr liebe vertragen. Oben gibt es eine wunderschöne überdachte Terrasse mit einem großartigen Blick auf Offenburg....

"Property was excellent, only thing I would add on the hot days is a second air conditioner for us Americans who are used to cold air. The WiFi is not great for working but fine for browsing the web. Area is beautiful, house is very clean and well equipped and the owner is available at all times. "
