That view!!
The home is on a hill with a spectacular view! So peaceful and lovely!! Coffee in the mornings sitting on the rockers listening to over 20 varieties of birds chirping was just wonderful, and saw deer! Very spacious as well! Highly recommend it!

Beautiful property and surroundings.

GREAT home and location!
We stayed at the home for 4 nights and really enjoyed our time there. It was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. It's also very close to Gettysburg and all of the historical sites and attractions. Great views from all around the home, highly recommend!

Gettysburg Getaway
We were lucky to be able to bring our grandsons to this wonderful home to enjoy Gettysburg with them. Gettysburg and the house lived up to their billing. We had a great long weekend. We have rented many VRBO homes over the years and this, by far, the nicest and it came exactly as advertised, which sometimes doesn’t happen. Nice job!!

Lots of elbow room! Since our stay was during the month of January, use of the garage was much appreciated. We didn't have to scrape frost. We didn't have to remove snow from our vehicle.

Perfect for a Gettysburg visit.
The views are fabulous, sits on top of a hill. Spacious, in reality, as pictures show. We'll located for visits to the National military park, and close to wineries, breweries. Relatively close to other historic sites. A great headquarters for a history visit. Property manager very responsive to requests. You do not know she is there. We would rent again.

Property was absolutely beautiful! It was perfect for our stay and we hope to return and use the same property! The views were amazing! The only thing we could of asked for was to be able to control the AC better. It was a little to warm in there for us after riding motorcycles all day. But other than that it was perfect!!

Great sister weekend!
We had such a great time. This property was simply beautiful and so spacious for our sisters (5 of us) weekend in Gettysburg. The home had everything we needed and was perfect. I asked if there was a crock pot available, and they made sure we had one to use. Having a garage was wonderful, and the views from the porch were stunning. It was very clean, and there were plenty of towels and linens provided--which was so nice not to have to pack them. Great location, close to everything. Would love to visit in the fall! You will not be disappointed staying here!

Pictures don't do it justice!
The house was clean, spacious, and provided everything you need for your stay. The views were amazing, and quite honestly so was the house. We were close enough to visit Gettysburg, Hershey, and spend a day in Philadelphia. The house was well decorated, yet provides ample space and a garage to park in. The entire stay was great. We even were able to watch the deer walk through the backyard multiple times, and other wildlife as well. Definitely would go back!

More than expected
The home and the property were more than expected. Clean, beautiful, and comfortable. The king bed was so comfortable that i am asking for the brand as i have back issues. But woke up comfortable each morning. Kitchen is huge and well supplied. Living room is more than huge and furniture very comfortable and clean. But now lets talk about the view. Wow. Peaceful and very close to downtown Gettysburg. We loved it.

Grand Home Grand Views
We had a wonderful time here. The house is massive and well appointed. The views are breathtaking! Short ride into Gettysburg. We had a minor issue upon arrival but the property manager responded immediately and took care of it promptly. We were very impressed with Erin. Our favorite part was sitting on the front deck in the evening watching the sunset and listening to the cows and sheep in the distance saying goodnight. Then the deer come out and the owls and frogs are talking to one another. Would love to return someday.

Spacious and open
The house was very large. There was an extra mattress under the bed in the smaller bedroom that we ended up pulling out and using so we didn't need the pullout couch for our 2 teenage boys. The wood floors were beautiful but it was nice to have rugs in the sitting areas. The kitchen had all the basics. I had trouble with the can opener one night and had to pry the lid off of sauce...what a mess! I recommended they get an electric opener🙂 The beds were Very firm but comfortable. The shower pressure was great and the bathtub filled up quickly. I think it would be a beautiful view in the summer. We had trouble with the TV hooking up to the internet but the property manage, who lives downstairs, came right up and worked it out. We only heard them the first night.

Property Set New Standard
The location is quiet and relaxing. The view is just beautiful. Walking inside is awe inspiring. We really liked having use of the two car garage since we had cold nights and avoided scrapping frost. The first day of arrival we sat on the front porch and did not want to leave the property. I could easily have spent the day relaxing and reading. Other than the bedrooms and bathrooms, there are no window covers. It seemed odd but other than two neighbors, there is nobody around to infringe on your privacy. Not a big deal. The air flow from the ducts is noticeable in the master bedroom but again not a problem, I like white noise. I would definitely stay again. Erin was very gracious in helping us recover some items left behind. Thank you again.

Beautiful property!!
The property is beautiful & spacious. Super clean and very accommodating. Loved the location and the amazing scenery!! Ran into a few issues....we were informed a day or 2 before our stay that the central air was down but there were portable units hooked up. Unfortunately, the portable units didnt do much of anything in the living room and master bedroom and it was extremely hot this weekend. It was also too late to book elsewhere since it was bike week. 2nd, on the second night, we lost internet so that meant no TV. Not a huge deal but we wanted to all sit down and watch a movie and relax after running around in the heat all day. 3rd, I think room darkening curtains or shades would be beneficial. By 6am (or earlier) the room was super bright. Shades or curtains may also help keep the house a little cooler too. The property manager was very helpful and even left us check in a little early which was so nice!! All in all, we loved the house and would definitely stay again when a little cooler.

Fantastic place to stay with everything you need for an awesome adventure !
The pictures do not do it justice . This property is immaculate , views are stunning and it has EVERYTHING you need for an awesome stay ! Whether you want to sit on a rocking chair and watch the sunrise or set the views are great ! The kitchen has everything you need . We cooked every meal including a HUGE Christmas Day dinner and we found everything we needed in the kitchen to cook , serve and store ! There are plenty of games and puzzles to play in front of the fire or at one of the 2 tables or the 2 sitting areas . The bath in the master bedroom is an awesome way to relax . If you forget toiletries they have provided many items which is awesome including bubbles for the tub . Everything is very clean . We had fun roasting marshmallows in the outdoor FirePit . The location is great. it is isolated but also a quick 15 min drive to the local store Or the Gettysburg battlefields . The beds are comfortable and so is the pull out sofa . There are tons of extra pillows, linens and towels and they are all clean and in good condition . There is also a single air mattress if you need it ! The TV is a smart TVs so you can log Into Netflix or Amazon . There is a HDMI cord to hook up your computer for streaming other things like Apple TV or Disney +. The couches are super comfy and large so everyone can relax ! The only thing I would say is to pack slippers as all the floors are hardwood . The property owner is super friendly and communicative Definitely a 5 star stay ....

Visit was amazing...first time to Pennsylvania. What a beautiful piece of property, had fun watching the deer in the morning, opening the windows to fresh air. Very peaceful and a moving experience at the battlefield. We loved it.

Beautiful House
My husband and I enjoyed our visit to immensely. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and the views were very nice from the windows. I felt uncomfortable sitting on the large deck with rocking chairs because another house is located directly in front of this side of the rental property. I was not able to tell from the VRBO pictures of this situation prior to renting. Seeing only mountains gave me the impressions this rental was more secluded. Still, a very nice rental and I would come back again.
