"Unfortunately there were a lot of aspects of booking and staying at this property that were unprofessional and uncomfortable. The only person who spoke to us was the host’s husband, and he never gave us his name, even in person. We never saw or spoke to Madeleine. They didn’t respond to messages in the app. Madeleine’s husband asked us to cancel on our end 2 days before the reservation began. His rationale was that there was an ant infestation but that they were harmless so if we didn’t want...

"Nous avons passé un très beau séjour au chalet de la diablerie. La propriété est très bien équipée et à proximité des chemins de randonnées. La vue de la montagne de la terrasse est magnifique et le coucher du soleil illumine les monts d'une lumière légèrement rosée. "What a gem! We had a lovely 2-night stay at Alparthotel surrounding one day of skiing at Champery. The hotel is lovely, quiet, and clean. It is an easy walk from the Chemin de Verger bus stop. We did not have a car and were able to walk to a Coop nearby (grocery store and restaurant). The rooms were comfortable and modern. Would definitely recommend!"

"This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at.The staff are outstanding. Polite, helpful with excellent English but prepared to humour my attempts at speaking French. The room was wonderful with an incredible view across the lake to the mountains. The breakfast buffet was amazing, especially the eggs Benedict cooked to order. The spa was good too. I could not recommend more"

"A solid hotel in a beautiful location. View of the lake and mountains. Many balconies. Beautiful area in a sleepy village. The place is extremely clean, but a little age is showing and low cost improvements. I am sure this is out of season and hotel is in a maintenance mode so the restaurant was closed. "
