We didn’t use the hot tub, but there was plenty of good space for adults, too. We gathered for a family wedding, but the space enabled us to spend a few wonderful relaxing days with family we rarely see. Communication with Leora was prompt and accommodating. 5 stars all around! While the kitchen is a bit outdated, it still had everything we needed for preparing meals. The location was fantastic - close to everything we wanted to explore. "The house was a beautiful, old farmhouse house. There were notes all around, giving clear guidance on where things were located. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. My favorite part was the large dining room table that allowed everyone to sit down and eat together. I would definitely stay there again."

Street parking was easy, making arrival and departure hassle-free. "The owner communicated well and was very responsive. The fireplace stove was great and we used the hot tub every day. Kitchen was well stocked. We cooked almost every meal and had everything we needed. The office space is a nice, private, comfortable space, as well. "

"We loved our stay at this historic farmhouse in Culpeper. The location was perfect, halfway between Leesburg and Charlottesville and near central Virginia destinations. The listing and photos are accurate. Beds are very comfortable. First floor bedroom worked well for our family. Kitchen very well stocked, we even did some Christmas baking. Convenient to grocery stores and restaurants and parks. Yard was great for our dog. Recommended for family and friend groups who appreciate historic homes....

"We stayed with our adult son and 2 dogs over Thanksgiving week. The house was very cool, had a great layout, comfortable furniture and well-equipped kitchen. On the down side, there was no heat in the bathrooms, the rain shower heads sprayed all over the place, the towels were more like blankets than towels (we went and purchased regular terry towels). The driveway is steep and would require 4-wheel drive in winter. We wanted to do some star gazing but there were so many outside lights...

"We stayed as we are in between houses and wanted to have a larger place to host and cook the holiday meal. I will say that the house could definitely use some updates and also a deep cleaning. Generally, it was comfortable and the views of the river are beautiful. The whole house was well stocked with just about anything we needed that we forgot to bring. I would have loved it more during warm weather but even during the winter, it was comfortable. "

"Can't beat this location for a stay in Front Royal. Easy walk to Main Street for shops and food/drinks. Great fire pit area in the back yard. Older house with modern updates. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended."

"House was in a great location. Close to many wineries! Missing the love/care. Cleaning service needs to be replaced. Dog hair found on bedding & floors which got stirred up with ceiling fan on. Limited glassware. No hand soap, dish soap to be found which made washing dishes impossible. Other than that, the house was fine. "
