Serendipity at Acadia | Family getaway

Welcome to Serendipity at Acadia, a sprawling 7-bedroom estate with all the makings of a once-in-a-lifetime family getaway! Enjoy endless summer in the home’s screened-in private pool area with the main pool, hot tub, and shallow kiddie pool. Poolside loungers await for sun-filled afternoons, and the patio offers a shaded space to enjoy an outdoor dinner.

Indoor recreation can be split between several areas which collectively ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy. The formal living space, with plush couches and smart tv, is open to the kitchen and dining area, making it a great spot to hang out as a group. Head to the home’s epic game and movie room for ultimate at-home recreation. 6 theater-style recliners face a large screen smart tv, plus the pool table stand ready for hours of play.

Whether you’re preparing snacks to enjoy by the pool, a quick lunch to take on the go, or a formal meal to share at the dining table, you’ll find everything you need in the fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, coffee maker, and cookware.

This home sleeps up to 16 guests in 7 private bedrooms, each with its own smart tv and ensuite bathroom, plus a queen size sleeper sofa in the living area.

Bedroom #1 has a king size bed.

Bedroom #2 has a king size bed and patio access.

Bedroom #3 has 2 twin size beds, 1 built to look like a Disney princess castle, and the other to look like a Minnie Mouse Jeep.

Bedroom #4 has 2 twin size Lightening McQueen beds and a toddler/training bed.

Bedroom #5 has a king size bed, built to look like a ship with a Nemo theme.

Bedroom #6 has a king size bed.

Bedroom #7 has a king size bed.

THINGS TO NOTE:
- Washer and dryer in unit.
- Parking space is provided in the driveway and on the street opposite the home.
- The hot tub is always FREE to guest use. Pool can be heated for an additional fee of $29 per night. Please contact our customer service after you have booked your stay for further payment.
- Please be advised that the pool heat is not included in your reservation cost. Charges for pool heat are non-refundable unless the heating system is experiencing issues. Pools need a minimum of 48 hours to heat properly. Pool heat is added for the whole stay or none of the stay. There is no partial pool heat allowed due to the high costs to bring up the temperature in the home.

Note: cold fronts in the winter months (<60 degrees) can cause the electric pool equipment not to function; this does not constitute mechanical failure and refunds for pool heat will not be issued. Home with heat pumps can only pull heat from the ambient air, and generally only 15-20 degrees above ambient is the temp the pools can get to..

- A private grill can be rented for $150 for your stay up to one week depending on availability and subject to change. To request the use of a BBQ grill, please contact our customer service team few days prior to your check-in date. Please note that BBQ grill rental fees are non-refundable.

-In case of hurricanes or inclimate weather or due to necessary repairs, certain amenities may be closed and unavailable during your stay. We cannot guarantee the availability of each amenity​ in the community.
-Due to unusually high amount of theft and destruction we regret to tell you we no longer supply wash clothes. If this is a “must have” item for you, you may request them ahead of your stay. Thank you for understanding as this helps keep our rent low for you and your family.

This home is located in the private community of Acadia Estates. This residential neighborhood is only 30-35 minutes from Disney's Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and Epcot. Universal Studios can be reached with a short drive further north. If a fabulous round of golf is what you’re after, there are several golf courses within minutes. Shops, restaurants, and activities are also within easy reach.

Please note that requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of $30 per additional hour requested. An excellent place to stay!
We absolutely loved this house!! It was huge & was everything we needed. It was so nice having all of our families & grandkids together. The kids really enjoyed the movie theatre/game room & the pool. We will definitely be back! It was very close to the Magic Kingdom too! Very very nice place to stay!!! We loved our stay!

Great Family Time
We enjoyed this house so much. There was plenty of room for my family of 16 and we loved the game/movie room. The pool/spa was perfect. I walked every morning in the neighborhood and it was very peaceful. Easy check in process and no problems during our stay. The game tables need updated but my family still used them.

Celebrating my son’s birthday at Disney
The house had plenty of room, enjoyed the game room, pool and spa- not a hot tub, the water was only warm, but we didn’t mind. House was clean, felt safe in the gated neighborhood, had easy access to stores and gate to Disney parks was about 10 minutes away, used Uber to get everywhere which worked great! Had some trouble with the front door lock but the rental agency responded quickly and resolved it Wonderful weekend getaway!

The home waa beautiful and in a great location. My only issue was the pool never got heated(we paid $19/hr a day for. The owner gave me a 3 day refund). Master bedroom with pztio access the toilet needs to be fix it runs all day and night no matter how you jiggle the ha8

Disney Vacay
We came down for a Disney vacation. Location was prime! House had more space than we even needed, everyone was very comfortable. There is updated furniture in the living room (different from listing) which I was really happy about. House was really clean and came stocked with all the necessities to get started - much appreciated. I also appreciated a very minimal list of requirements at check out. Only thing I would recommend updating on the listing was the lack of the stroller. Already reached out to the owners and they said they were working to update too. Very satisfied! Plan to stay again in the future.

Time to refresh a bit
The price was right on this property, but I would have paid more if I had been able to regulate temperatures in the pool and hot tub, if the power had stayed on in the front bedroom and game room throughout our stay, if the temperature of the showers wasn't either freezing cold or burning hot and nothing in-between, if there had been an icemeker or ice cube trays for making ice and if the air conditioner had not conked out halfway through (thankfully, that was repaired). It doesn't show in the pictures, but everything in the game room is pretty aged and worn. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable, the place was very roomy and the televisions were in working order. Responses from the management were always quick and polite.

Nice Property/Lots of Room
This house has plenty of room and lots of bathrooms for all. With 3 big bedrooms downstairs and a theatre/game room. Nice pool and hot tub. The kitchen is on the smaller side.. but it worked for us. My only complaint is that two of the three bathrooms showers did not work. Had to remove Toddlers from tub to another tub. You either got REALLY HOT WATER or REALLY COLD WATER. I did report this and said they could come after our stay to fix the issue. We just used another bathroom. HOWEVER, I noticed that someone prior to our stay already reported the issue. I am not happy about them not fixing the issue... goodbye 2 stars. So.... if your stay was after 1/22/24 and you experienced this issue... give them a lower rating for not fixing an issue already reported.

Stay at Acadia Estates
The property was great. Communication was A+. Very clean. There were just a few issues. I have never stayed at one of these types of homes. Always in a hotel or a hotel with a kitchen. The play room was great for the kids, the couches in there were really bad. Maybe that doesn't matter with renting a house. The dishwasher utensil holder has some mold (just needs a good cleaning).Freezer is very icy, perhaps may need temperature regulated. Showers hard to regulate temperature. Other than those few things, it didn't make my stay miserable, just think they should be remedied. The house is super close to the parks, shopping etc. I would stay there again in the future.

Well worth it
The kids love it. The pool was amazing. Close driving distance to everything. The only issue was the theater seating was very used and the pool table thing was not set up still in box. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay though with kids. Very kid friendly.

Serendipity at Acadia Lively Review
The place was nice and we would stat here again. A few things we did not like was where the movie room is pretty ran down with the recliners not working and the fact that a pool table is shown, but there was no pool table when we arrived. There was a new ping pong table in a box with a broken one in the room, but a pool table would have been nice especially when one is shown in the advertisement. The Lightning McQueen bed slats kept falling out too, which made the bed unusable also. We would stay here again though. It was a nice property and a good location.

Wonderful Home
This house is wonderful. The house is clean and kept in working order. The beds were very comfortable. My kids loved the play room / theater. The pool is amazing and Heated. I felt very safe at this home as well. The host was great. He is very hospitable. I will definitely book here again.

My family/friends and I have been renting Orlando Vacation homes for 15+years. This was by far the most well stocked, cleanliest, well laid out floor plan, Great room options, and friendliest owners we have ever dealt with. We travel with adults, so the en-suites were great. Overall best house, and we will return.

Close to all parks - house is awesome. The kids loved the game room and the pool. The beds are super comfy and the house was incredibly clean. The themed rooms were really fun for the kids. Would definitely stay at this house again ! Stefan h helped us find local restaurants nearby in addition to responding to ALL my questions quickly !

Pool was fantastic!
Our overall stay was great, didn’t use dishwasher, wasn’t happy with looks inside. Otherwise my family had a great time with plenty of beds, really enjoyed the pool and movie/game room.

2022 family vacation
The house was perfect for our large family. We spent most days enjoying the pool and evenings in the theater room. Stefan was very responsive and helpful with all our questions. He was even kind enough to give us a magic show. It was awesome. Definitely a wonderful property for large families.

Great vacation
We had a great vacation in this house with 3 families!! The house was clean and well maintained. Could use a bit of updating. The outdoor table chairs were uncomfortable and the shower heads needed a deep clean in a couple bathrooms. Other than that The only main problem we had was the air conditioning unit kept freezing up. Apparently there was a leak in the two year old unit so it was covered under warranty but not able to be replaced during our entire stay. Should be fixed for anyone after us!!
