I have been to the embassy suites in Jacksonville so I feel my opinion may be a bit skewed. The beds here were uncomfortable and the pillows were awful. When I called guest services on 3 separate occasions there was simply no answer. There was no hot tub and most of the staff I encountered did not speak English. The line for the bar was over an hour and the breakfast line was extreme as well. However, check in and out was extremely easy, as was parking. The pool was nice and the rooms were spacious.

The staff was friendly, and the hotel itself was beautiful, both inside and out. However, I encountered several issues with the room that affected my stay. The paint on the bathtub was peeling off, and the surface appeared dirty. Additionally, the toilet had a large crack across the top that had been visibly patched. The carpet in the room was also worn and had noticeable dark stains. I reported these concerns to the front desk, and while they acknowledged the condition of the bathroom, they did not offer a room change. Instead, they mentioned they would report the issue to the manager. Unfortunately, during my three-day stay, I received no follow-up from management regarding these concerns.

The housekeeper left our door unlocked all day. I am grateful that nothing was stolen because when we tried to unlock the door, it had been fixed so that it did not close. I was disappointed by the response that was given by the gentleman who answered the phone when we called downstairs to complain.

While the general design of the property looks nice, the sound tends to echo which made it difficult for my son, who was sleeping on the pullout couch in the living area to sleep. They have signs indicating that quiet time was strictly enforced, we found that it wasnt. Also, no loungers by the pool!
