The layout and decor of this house was as depicted but we found it a bit smaller and more dated than we anticipated from the photos. Superficially, it was clean, but the exterior needed work. The check-in process was frustrating because I did not receive the QR code ahead of time.
I communicated with the host and property manager several times and they were always lovely to work with. The issues we encountered included a malfunctioning hot tub, lack of pool maintenance, dirty pool deck, malfunctioning smoke detector, TV remotes needed batteries, and no baby monitor upon arrival.
We used all four bedrooms, and everyone reported that their beds were comfy. Iām glad we paid to have the pool heated, as we used it a lot. The rented bbq was pretty scanty and didnāt light properly without a lighter. The video games worked well and were a big hit with everybody.
Bella Vida consists of a lot of rental vacation homes, quite close together, and many were not occupied while we were there. People were friendly and we felt safe. The garbage pick-up was variable and raccoons seem to be an issue. The main club house was well maintained with a large 3-foot pool which we used once and the kids enjoyed for an hour or so.
For a family who is busy at Disney every day, this would be a perfectly nice landing pad. We spent a lot of time at the house with small children, so these issues may have impacted us more than some.
