"We very much enjoyed our stay at La Plantation. Our unit was clean and comfortable with spectacular views. The staff were friendly and helpful, the property well kept. Beautiful Orient Beach, as well as the village stores and restaurants are walking distance, but would be a bit of a hike for some, however, a short car ride for them. We enjoyed the morning breakfast each day. We have stayed here before, not been back to SXM since Hurricane Irma in 2017. We are happy to say the Island is great as always, La Plantation has never disappointed, we would gladly visit again."

"This was our second time staying here. We loved how close it is to Orient beach , the restaurants and the local stores. The backyard is pretty and quiet . The pool is great to get some sun and swim in . Delphine is wonderful to work with . "

"The perfect place. Probably the best equipped rental we have ever stayed in. From rice cooker to ice maker, and everything in between. Lots of assorted spices and oils to choose from. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, we really didn’t want to leave. A short walk to the beach and being close to the Main Street with its restaurants and small shops made it the perfect location. Alexandra and cleaning staff were very helpful.Highly recommended "

"During my stay at La Playa Orient Bay in St Martin, I was impressed by the great service and the spacious, beautifully decorated rooms. Though the ocean view is more of a partial view, it's still a delight to wake up to the soothing sound of waves each morning. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the staff at the reception were incredibly helpful and welcoming. One minor hassle was the beach towels policy, as you can't change them during the day if they get dirty. However, I do appreciate their effort towards minimizing environmental impact. The breakfast could use an upgrade; it’s not bad if you're staying for a few days, but the lack of variety may become monotonous if you're here for an extended period. The beach itself is stunning and the on-site restaurant offers delightful meals. The hotel's surrounding area is amazing too, with plenty of fantastic restaurants within walking distance. Overall, La Playa Orient Bay is a great choice for a relaxing stay in St Martin, despite a few minor inconveniences."

"Wonderful experience at Orient Beach Hotel in Saint Martin. We stayed 5 nights in January/2025. Check in/out and all interactions at the reception desk were very pleasant and professional. Loved our spacious ground floor room that had a covered patio that allowed us to walk out directly to the beach!! It offered a very comfortable king size bed, large screen TV with Direct TV channels, nice sized kitchenette with table and beautiful/modern bathroom. Guests have free access to second and third row of beach chairs/umbrellas with beach staff being very friendly and attentive to requests for food/drinks. The included continental breakfast is offered steps from the beach. I wish it included eggs, bacon and some Gluten Free options. You pay extra for those requests. Majority of staff spoke English and were very friendly! We loved our stay and booked a full week in 2026! "
