"This was an amazing holiday, it was a mixed bunch of ages but we all kept ourselves doing what we wanted. The house is amazing and modern but with the old rustic charm still within the old house. The swimming pool was the main attraction for the youngsters. It was big enough for all our party, and when the temperature dropped Jean soon put this right. Lacoste is an amazing place to visit, but all the surrounding area was beautiful. Great holiday xx"

"This is a pleasant, quiet, updated and well-maintained small stone house. The garden is beautiful and restful, and the location is excellent. A few things: there is a narrow, very steep spiral staircase which is not for the uncoordinated or faint of heart. The kitchen is minimal, with little tableware, a half-dishwasher, and no oven, which we note because we had intended on baking a birthday cake. The landlady/family are very nice and help to make for a pleasant stay."

"What a wonderful stay. We had the best week and so sad to have to leave. Lots to see near by, and a beautiful home to come back to. The pool was fabulous and we lived in it every afternoon! Nadege was amazing and cooked a beautiful meal for us and was so welcoming and so helpful. I really hope we will come back again."

"This is a glorious, quiet and serene property within 5 minutes walk uphill into the village. So calming and beautiful and several room options, although all upstairs. Great, large clean (unfenced) pool - so hypervigilance needed with small children. It was mid-summer hot and we think some room fans would be helpful as the automatic airconditioning was not quite adequate in the bedrooms. These are small criticisms of what is a magnificent holiday rental for a large group."

"The house was clean, well maintained and very comfortable. It is in a great location being a short walk to town using the “short” cut trail just down the road. Gustav was a wonderful host. Can’t wait to come back again."

"We had a wonderful stay. The home was large, clean, comfortable, and well located. The pool is large and well maintained. The bedroom AC kept us cool on the hottest nights. The garden was plentiful and eggs from the chickens kept breakfast plates full. The hosts were responsive and helpful."

"The house is located in a very quiet area and is very nice. The downstairs is air conditioned, modern and excellent, the kitchen is well equipped. Upstairs really needs air conditioning as it was very hot and you are unable to leave the windows open due to mosquitoes. The BBQ was rather old and tired but now has a new grill as we bought one! "Josette and Andre are very nice and strive to be helpful. Very rural location and setting was as we expected. The air conditioning was adequate in only one bedroom. The other 2 bedrooms plus the one upstairs bathroom and the separate toilette have air conditioning from only one unit located on the stair landing. It was not sufficient. Most nights, there was no hot water for bathing or showering. We went next door on two occasions to let the owners know, but they were not there. Apparently,...

"As our first venture to Provence, we could not have picked a better family home to stay in. Claude and his wife were great hosts and everything we needed as a family with a toddler was available. St Remy was a lovely visit and the market day on Wednesday was a real treat. We could not find any fault with the place and spoke with Claude on our lat night (over a glass of Cremant) about returning next year!"

If younhave a car, 2 parking lots within a couple blocks either way. Be aware that it is on the 3rd floor with no elevator (typical for the older buildings downtown). The accommodation was up a flight of steps, the place looked like a 1980 time share, just needed tlc, having said that, it had living room/kitchenette, separate bedroom and bathroom. The balcony overlooked the swimming pool and open area, and views of a golf course. Very quiet area. Bed was comfortable and clean, linen and towels were sufficient. No on-site restaurant or shop."
