"we booked for 5 nights for our ski trip to Sierra Nevada, it was a great base and Julie was the perfect host. It was much nicer than staying in the ski resort & the village is lovely too. Our room was big and we had a comfortable bed and good shower which is exactly what you need after a days skiing. We arrived late due to a flight delay but Julie was very understanding. We will definitely be back."

"what a lovely place. Meals were wonderful and the staff (including the owners) were very wonderful. The area offers all kinds of walking/hiking and hiking and if you like to be away from a city this really is a nice place to be."

"This beautiful place is worth the visit to the town of Niguelas. Everything was lovely. From the room to the breakfast to the caring owner who ensured we had everything we needed. We stayed here overnight and spent days on the beach. Very easy drive to the coast. Great value."

"First class stay, staff very helpful"

"This is a wonderful place to stay in the Alpuharra. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds and incredible views. The couple who runs it are sweet and kind and considerate. We had dinner and breakfast there which was delicious with all fresh local fare. The property has a nice pool overlooking the mountains. There is a 10 min trail down to the town which has good restaurants and lovely shops. Highly recommended! "

"This is a very odd place. Sure it is an old palace but the rooms are in a basement like plant. In the bathroom the hot water took ages and the shover did not work. We were the only guests and therefore they closed the dining-room and the library and half past eight and the only way our was through the emergency door by the kitchen. It is not a recommendable hotel.The surroundings are quit e nice and the park is great, but inside it is not."

"One of the loveliest places we have ever stayed. We had come for three days, but decided to stay for five, and even then, it was hard to leave. Such a beautiful, quiet, calm place. Felix's breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. We spent much of our time in their "Little Garden", reading books under the cool shade of the beautiful chestnut tree. It was a little paradise. "

"We had a great week here, the house has everything you need, set in beautiful gardens and with amazing views. Peter is a lovely host. We would definitely recommend this place and would love come back some day. Orgiva is a very friendly town. We would recommend Baraka and Pizza N Love for food and also Nur Bakery for bread and amazing cakes"

"Went out of season, so very difficult to give a review of the resort as there was nothing going on. Good location - walkable to ski lifts. Though not ski in, ski out. Very clean. I was a bit worried about access - directions to get in weren't brilliantly clear - more communication prior to arrival would be beneficial. "Recently remodeled-from check-in to checkout our stay was wonderful. Amazing remodeling of the hotel. The room was well decorated and the beds comfortable. The morning buffet breakfast had an amazing variety of food and flavours with a great helpful staff. Eggs/omelets cooked to order. A real experience every morning. The terrace on top of the hotel had a great view of the city and Sierra Nevada mountains-with a full bar/food service. Front desk was professional and always willing to help in any way. It’s been said location location location and this hotel had it. Perfectly located near shopping, restaurants and historic buildings. A must stay!!"

"Nice big room with confortable king size bed, nice balcony with table and chairs overlooking the pool. Bathroom is outdated, needs new shower sliding doors. No shampoo or body soap for the shower, instead a watered down hand soap of the same kind used for the sink. All your shower toiletries had to be put on the shower floor, need a shower basket. Optional breakfast buffet was reasonably priced.Bacon,eggs, hashbrowns and other items that should be kept hot were always cold. Good selection of coffees, teas, breads and spreads. "This hotel was quite lovely! The breakfast buffet was excellent! Finding the street and entrance to the front door was hard because google maps says you are there...but you are on the main drag still...so don't plug in the address on the website. But it is a lovely hotel and i would stay there again."
