"Location perfect for viewing all the major sites. Unfortunately the weather, was not good for us but it didn’t stop us seeing, what we needed to view, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay , the house worked well for 7 of us . "

"Spent a wonderful week here with my children and grandchildren. Blessed with wonderful weather so made lots of use of the pool. House had everything we needed in it.super clean, spacious and well equipped. Air conditioning was very well received. Family went go carting, just 5 minutes from the house. Grandchildren enjoyed watching small planes fly over and odd helicopter. Lovely loop to Dolmen stones which you can see from the upstairs bathroom, great for early morning walk. Stars amazing at...

"Overall experience was great with amazing company, however many small touches can make the property exceptional. The property is immediately next to the owner which we were not aware of, but this would have been useful to know particularly for the check in process. The house needs a good clean. It is full of dust in many obvious areas. Doors don’t close. Not everything was as advertised, for example the hammocks were missing. We ran out of toilet paper after 3 days. "A beautiful gite- absolutely immaculate converted barn with a large, gorgeous outside area- patios & lawns leading down to a stream. It was set in an idyllic, peaceful location- perfect for a real getaway in the French countryside. Alain, Muriel and their daughter were lovely and very helpful and we would love to visit this beautiful property again."

"This worked well for our large family group (9 adults, three teens, and our 3-year-old grandson). There is lots of room. We only had one night as we were between visiting Villandry and Chenonceau. This was a side trip for us as we were on our way to Bastogne, Belgium. Despite being there for a short time, Eloise was very accommodating and excellent in her communications with us. We are thankful for the opportunity to stay here!"

"This place was amazing. Beginning with "Greg" (best we Texans could do pronouncing this nice young man's name) who greeted us and parked our van and got us dinner reservations in the on-site Restautant and escorted us to our lovely rooms. We felt like we were in an ancient chateau with all of the modern comforts. I guess we were! Walking distance to everything in the charming town of Amboise. Our group of five declared this our favorite place is a two-week French road trip. We would all go back and stay a month if we could. "
