"Loved our stay and gutted it wasn’t longer. The hotel was warm and friendly with a lovely welcome from reception and her assistant Joy (the dog). Absolutely beautiful area to explore. Hotel was clean and comfortable. The bedsheets felt very luxurious and we had a very good nights sleep. Only issue for us is not too many restaurants are open on a Monday! "

"Interesting chambre d'hôtes-type accomodation. The owner trades old books on the Internet, so there are many thousands of books of all kinds, everywhere. There's a place to safely park your bicycle. Breakfast had many options to choose from. I enjoyed the conversation with the owner and his girlfriend during breakfast. Cleanliness of room and shared bathroom was not up to my standards, though."

"I had a wonderful stay here, after a long motorcycle ride that started in Amsterdam. Being able to park my vehicle on the secured premises was one of the main reasons for choosing this accommodation, but luckily, everything else ended up being excellent too. "This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. There was no one at reception when we arrived and after calling out for ten minutes someone arrived but had difficulty finding our reservations. The room was small with knobs missing on doors, staines on the ceiling and peeling paint work. The bathroom was a joke. "A reasonable hotel for a good price. Fine for one night stay while driving to Southern France. The pillow was very small and lumpy, and I was woken a number of times in the night; first at 1am by the person in the room above banging around, and again at 3am by someone in the corridor outside my room talking on the telephone. Staff are very friendly and it's close to some reasonable restaurants. I would stay here again for one night when travelling in France."

"A very central, clean hotel with friendly staff. The room was airy and the bathroom had a powerful shower. We did not try the breakfast. The hotel is off a main street, making it very quiet at night, yet very convenient for the city centre that has many restaurants and shops. It is also very convenient for the tram network, being 100m away from the République Tram stop (that deserve Les Aubrais train station within 15min). All in all, very recommended."

Great stop-off north of Orleans

"I arrived late and the guy rang to confirm that all was ok. Limited parking but the guy on reception told me where to go. Bathroom was not just clean but shining! Breakfast buffet was good. Overall, the place was quiet and comfortable. "

Pleasantly surprised at this hotel

"Very good budget hotel. No restaurant for evening meals but very good breakfast, gym if you need to exercise, secure parking, very good staff, comfortable bed, great bath/ shower and cosy and warm when it was almost freezing outside. Recommended."
