The Cambridge House is located in the highly desirable Old Town Orange, a one-mile square area that is centered around the historic Orange Plaza. This is a secluded 2-story back house with large yard and private deck with dedicated parking spot, plus plenty of street parking. Did we mention we just finished a complete renovation? This back house is centrally located to all Orange County has to offer. Only 10 minutes from Disneyland, 20 minutes to Newport Beach, John Wayne Airport, and walking distance to the famous Orange Circle and Chapman University. At the Circle you’ll find lots of great restaurants, shopping and nightlife. Cambridge House is surrounded by many other charming historic homes in this highly sought after neighborhood.

Home away from home

Loved my stay here. So comfortable. I even had my very own doorman, Burt! The neighborhood is great for walking. Made my way into Old Orange for dinner, so convenient.

Great porch

We had a fantastic experience at this property. Great layout. Had everything we needed. The porch was a highlight…wanted to stay there all day, every day. Easy walk to Old Towne Orange. Highly recommend this property.

Chapman Homecoming Visit!

Lovely little place in Orange

Small but very clean, cozy and quiet. I think one of our favorite things was being greeted by Burt, the adorable dog who lives in the front house!

Great location for Old Town Orange. Property is private and felt very safe. Not a detraction, but kitchen is small with limited cooking supplies. We appreciated that everything was clean and tidy. Heating and cooling operated well and quietly. Fan in bedroom only worked when overhead entry light was on, which was a disappointment. Burt, the resident dog was delightful, friendly, welcoming and a treat to meet. We would stay there again

Old Towne Orange Charmer

Had a great stay and finally found something super close to the Circle and Chapman University. Perfect for families visiting Chapman students. Very cute and charming two story cottage. Owner was very responsive and super easy to work with.

Great visit!

I rented this VRBO to stay with my daughter, a Chapman student, for a few days before heading home for Thanksgiving. We had a great time! The property was clean and very cute, very close to all of the fun activities and restaurants in Orange, and also came with Burt the dog, who made himself at home immediately! We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Spot for Chapman Parents

The Cambridge House was lovely and immaculate. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the circle and most of the dorms on campus. Michelle was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Will definitely be back.

Great Stay in Orange

This property was great. It suited our needs and we were quite happy here for the week we stayed. Proximity to Disneyland is great and the neighborhood itself is close to amenities. The other tenants dog Burt was a bonus. Like a welcoming committee!

Quaint - Quiet - Quintessential

When planning and booking our family trip to California from Texas, I wanted a property that met some criteria. It had to be a cute property - nobody wants to vacation in any dump. It needed to be just the right size to SLEEP in only as our family is out all day. When I do sleep, I need quiet, no noisy hotels near the freeways. This property met, and exceeded, our needs. The property is a newly renovated open concept garage apartment with enough room for a family with 2-3 children that is central to the better beaches, local attractions and Disney which are 15-20 minutes depending on the unpredictable nature of Cali's traffic. We did not discover the awesomeness of downtown Old Town Orange until the last night. There is no need to venture out too far for dinner as this area has a variety of eateries, including a pie and coffee shop, and 'mom and pop' shops At some point during your stay, be sure to visit The Filling Station for breakfast. Oh, and if you are dog people, which we are, you will love this property even more as it has perks of having your very own welcoming wagon...in the form of an Irish Wolf Hound named "Burt." Each time you arrive home from your busy day of vacationing he is there to greet you with a wagging tail. When you wake up in the morning, he will sit at your feet while you sip your coffee on the property's patio. Burt's owner, a long term tenant of the main property is super friendly as well. You will LOVE this place, just book it already!

Softball tournament

Place was so clean. Contact with the property owner was easy. 30 min from beach.. Girls who were 17 loved the place. The best part was Bert… Irish wolf hound!!!

We had a great time, visiting family and friends that live in area. So nice to be able to walk to the Orange Circle with all its places to eat. Weather was perfect. Only one concern…there is no handrail on the inside staircase.

our return visit...

It was good to be greeted by Burt!...but no so much his 'friend,' but owner was there to call off the 'friend.' Very little change. It was great to find ice in the freezer...it was HOT. Sad to have no decaf coffee pods & luckily I travel w/ my own tea bags. Burt seemed to have broken the gate to climb to the porch, even though bungi tied on both sides. I'd suggest power washing & fresh paint on the porch & replacing the failing wooden floor boards. Otherwise all good. Many thanks. We love Orange.

Wonderful Experience

The home was welcoming and peaceful. The upstairs deck was a great spot to enjoy a morning coffee or tea. Location to Chapman U and the Circle was excellent.

The property was well situated for us to walk to our daughter's house. Burt, the Irish wolfhound, was very welcoming. The property was clean and served our needs well. We would definitely keep in mind for future stays.

The property was represented exactly as it appears and was beautiful. All the details for check in were provided in advance, making it super easy! The property owner touched base with us to ensure we knew to reach out with any needs and responded very quickly when a question came up. The property was very clean, bed was super comfy, and it has everything you need for a home away from home atmosphere. We are hopeful this property is available for future trips to the area as we will definitely try to stay here again!

Disney Vacation
