This unit is a great place for families on a budget! It has recently been updated with our guests in mind. We strive to create a space you'll want to call your home away from home. Sleeps up to 8 people comfortably. Having instant access to the beach is another bonus of this location.

We do want to point out, while this condo is located on the beach, the balcony of your condo does have a side view of the beach.

Entire space is included in this rental including 4 pools (all outdoors), a rooftop tennis court, and during the spring and summer a poolside snack bar. Please, make yourself at home.

Upon arrival, parking passes must be purchased for $35/car cash only. This allows for up to 2 cars per unit to access our on-site covered parking.

It was noted that it sleeps 8 but I would only recommend that if you’re bringing kids not all adults. Smaller than expected but we still managed to have a great time. Location was excellent

Location was the best appeal to this property as the beach wasn’t crowded at all! Very close to numerous restaurants as well. Kids enjoyed all the pools!

Great condo!
Condo was clean, beds were very comfortable, kitchen stocked with everything you need for cooking. Owner was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our vacation and would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay
We stayed at sugar beach for the weekend for my daughter's wedding. Not knowing my daughter's room was just across the hallway so it worked out great when we were getting ready for the wedding. Everything was nice and we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely go back.

FAMILY VACATION
The condo was in a GREAT location. Access to the beach was easy, leaving the condo any time of the day was easy. The only problem I had was a curtain for a door to the bathroom in the 2nd bedroom. I LOVED the kitchen and livingroom set up; for my family it was great.

Great beach break
The condo was perfectly fine for our trip, with everything needed for a nice time at the beach. The beach here was great for the kids - super soft sand, gentle waves and a gradual drop. Inside the condo everything was comfortable, clean and easy to find. The bed want my favorite, but that’s preference. The wifi was fast, and the kitchen was fully stocked. Everything you want or need is nearby - mini golf, restaurants, groceries, souvenir shops.

Fun trip for a bach party
My friends went, I unfortunately got sick and couldn’t make it. They said the rooms were smaller than the photos, checking in and finding the place was a little hard, but other than that it was clean, they had fun. The owner sent daily texts before the event to tell us great places to eat at and fun events to do. And reminders on what to bring, so the owner was very informative. Great place!

Great location!!!
Pros: on the beach with multiple pools to choose from. 10-15min from all the night life in gulf shores. Plenty of sleeping space. 2 bathrooms. Clean. 1st floor so didn’t have to wait for elevator, just took the stairs most of the time. Great amenities including dish washer and washer/dryer. Cons: double mattress was really soft and not supportive, no ceiling fans and not enough outlets to plug into or broken outlet.

Our only issue was just something you couldn’t tell from the pictures. Ceilings were very low and hallways of the property were institutional. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Owner gave lots of info and updates. We didn’t need to contact him for anything.

Mom & Me getaway (2 Mom friends & their kids)
My co-worker & I really wanted to take our kids to he beach for Spring Break. Taking it together would make our budget go further. This condo fit the bill. It was beyond our expectations! Upon arrival the gaurd was friendly and knowledgeable about where to park & which elevator to use. They had valet caddy's that allows you to make one easy trip to get belongings to the condo. The elevators ran quickly. To get to the beach & pools was just a short walk away. They had new pool loungers and the pool was tidy. The beach felt very private and not crowded. Between myself and my friend we had 5 children age range 7y - 16y. I have 2 girls & a young son. We took the bunk room & the beds were very comfy. My friend took the main bedroom & her son's stayed in the living room. They had a good night's sleep. Having the kitchen & washer/dryer was super convenient. We made breakfast and snacks. They had everything one would need to make one feel comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen, enough supplies to last a couple of days from trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels & Toiletries. Note: bring extra trash bags, paper towels, laundry detergent. One last thing... The balcony was large enough for 5 people to sit comfortably and enjoy a snack & the sound of the Gulf of Mexico. The condo was cute and cozy. One of the pictures showed more soffas then what was actually in the condo. But that didnt end up being a problem thankfully. We had 7 guests total and I wanted to make sure everyone had a place to sit watching movies together when settling down for the night. The only complaints are one of the bathrooms didnt have an actual door only a curtain, which I did see in the pictures and knew about when renting. But privacy is not great in that bathroom. Adding a door would be nice. The other is the bunk beds are a little hard if any adults plan to sleep on them. Definitely more for kids but they werent terrible. Only 3 of the 4 pools were availble to swim in but thats plenty and an added surprise was one of the pools were heated. The snack place by the pools didnt seem to be open or the staff hid if they were open. We didnt get to order anything from there due to no one seemed to be at the window. We knocked too. Its a little cube looking place with a window. The menu is on the window but again didnt seem to be anyone there. Thats not the condo owners fault though. Just an FYI, maybe they are only open certain times of the year? There are elevators and stairs in the parking garage to get to your room, car, nd pools. And the parking garage had bathrooms which was nice! Over all I think this is a great place to stay and would stay again.

Orange beach is great but stay somewhere else
There were several negativve issues our family had on this trip that were all related to this condo. The cleaning crew didn't finish until 4:30pm and check in is supposed to be at 4pm. We had to wait while they finished up with all our bags and our 3 year old and 7 year old who were cranky and hot from a 9 hour car ride. The air conditioning unit was completely dirty and plugged up and no air filter had ever been inserted - there were several brand new fillters sitting there but just not inserted. We all had congestion and sinus issues while staying there. The remote in the kids bedroom was broken, the chair in the main "living room" area was broken. The kitchen is tiny and only wlone person can be in there at a time. But probably the biggest offending issue was when we got home, we noticed that our 3 year old had a pretty bad rash all over her bodyy and face. The doctor confirmed that is was "hot tub foliculitis" from the kiddie pool that was properlyy maintained in terms of cleaninng and chlorine/chemical levels. Poor thing has this itching rash all over her body and the thought of the bacteria ladden kiddie pool just grosses me out. Orange beach is stunning though and we went on a dolphin cruise that was great, spent all day at Watterville USA at the waterpark that was so fun and went to Adventure Island - our kids had a blast, which is why i gave the 2nd star. We will definitely be back to Orange Beach but will absolutely never stay at Sugar Beach Condos again.

Cute beach condo
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The condo was located right on the water and was very safe. My group and I (women ages 21-25) never felt scared. The one downside to our stay was the bunk room. The bunk beds are definitely not made for adults and felt very flimsy, since this listing said it fit 8 adults this was not an issue we predicted. Although this was the case we made due. I also want to point out that the bunk bedroom has a large window with no curtain so bring eye masks. The bathroom in that bedroom also has no door which we knew about before our stay by reading other reviews. Overall this condo is extremely affordable, clean, safe, and in a great location. We would definitely stay again if the bunk bedroom was updated.
