"What a lovely spa/hotel and surrounding countryside! The staff is kind and accommodating. And the pools are wonderful. My wife and I started off at Hotel Rosa apartments and opted to transfer to Hotel Sotelia with the adult pool complex. It was a good choice. We have nothing against the young children, but it was nice to rest in the soothing waters without kids running around. The meals were quite good. "Adjacent a main highway, but the traffic noise wasn't bothersome for us, though it might have been if you wanted to leave a window open. The breakfast area seemed a little too small for the number of guests, and in particular the coffee machine was a real choke point. Great location for exploring. We found delicious kebab at the beer fountain park in Zalec and toured a very nicely restored castle in Celje. "

"I have stayed here a number of times while visiting family. While it is in the heart of the city square it’s not easy to get to via car as most of the roads leading close to the hotel are closed. There are no safes in the room, rooms did not have ironing boards or irons. The comforters barely cover beds. My mom and sister stayed at other hotels in the city and both were far better experiences. Nice quality comforters and pillow."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Grof. The accommodations were great. The attached cafe and restaurant had excellent food and a wonderful homey ambience. The breakfast was amazing. I liked it so much I extended my stay to relax and refresh before traveling home. I had to leave before breakfast on my day of check-out and they prepared a wonderful gourmet to-go meal for me. I’d totally recommend anyone to stay here!"
