"This is a beautiful property. The buildings and surrounding countryside. The outdoor amenities are terrific with a large pool and a jetted smaller pool (cold water). The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was small and utilitarian and the bed was too hard for our liking. We are dinner and breakfast there and both meals were good (especially the cooked breakfast). The only downside of the property is that it is aging and in need of updating and maintenance. "A fair value hotel clise to the entrance to the city walls. If you have a car there is free public parking close to the hotel. It was cold and the heat and the room was controlled by the owner. It was on in the evening - turned off overnighr and on the next morning. Okay for a one night stay."

"It’s a lovely little place centrally located, very quiet, great service. The rooms are clean and well maintained if a little on the dated side. Bathrooms are modern but very small: shower was miniscule (I could barely bend over to wash my feet without knocking the door open, and I only weigh 140 lbs). The breakfast is terrific and it’s really nice to be centrally located. A great value overall but I’d say the hotel rating should be 3 stars, not 4."
