"It was a cold and dreary weekend, but warm and cozy in front of the fireplace at this home. We had a wedding in this town and was able to visit and gather with family and friends at this home and at the wedding. Communication with host was adequate. Plenty of towels, kitchen utensils and pots and pans and even a full supply of spices. There are no overhead lights in this house. More lamps, stand lights brighter lightbulbs would be helpful."

"We stayed here once before, and it was just as perfect as last time. The house has everything you could possibly want or need: Games, puzzles, ping-pong, table, kayaks. It has a view in every direction and lots of spaces together in smaller groups if you want. But possibly the best part is that it’s in the woods with no visible neighbors, and a view of the lake. Checking in and out with the host is super easy as well."

Exceptional stay

"We booked this hotel for a family wedding in the Lansing area. The hotel was clean. I can't say enough great things about the staff. They were so friendly and helpful. The parking attendants were friendly and prompt with our car. We asked about food around the area. They gave us a great recommendation and a map on how to get their. The staff made our stay exceptional. Customer service is lacking in so many places on a days. But every staff person we talked with were friendly and helpful. All smiles. I would highly recommend this hotel. "
