Amazing spot right on the water!
Our family had a great time enjoying the views (including Mt. Rainier), kayaking, and relaxing around the fire and in the hot tub. The home and location are beautiful and fully accurate to the listing. Tracey is a fantastic and responsive host. Would love to go back again sometime!

Incredible views, charming home
The house is older but feels quaint in a cozy way. The views and the outdoor space is what makes this an easy 5 star review though. Mt Rainier is front and center when you look outside (even from your bed in the morning 😍) and we saw SO MUCH WILDLIFE! I grew up in Washington and I saw more wildlife in 3 days at this property than I did in basically all my childhood. There were seals, herons, scores of porpoises playing, fish jumping out of the water, the occasional raccoon, I woke up to deer walking along the shore every morning, and I even saw an otter on the floating dock. I honestly felt like I had walked into a Disney movie. The sunsets were breathtaking. The sunrises even better. And the view from the hot tub is something else entirely. Do yourself a favor and stay here. I know I'll be back!

Lovely home
This amazing home just steps from Johnson Point is comfortable and well-equipped. The setting with the waves lapping at the shore and Mt. Rainier in the distance is the perfect getaway. And the tram to access the property is not only practical, it's a fun ride. I highly recommend this home.

Beautiful property with beautiful views. The house was immaculate and very well stocked with dishes and utensils to prepare food for small groups. There is plenty of room and activities to keep you occupied, or just the perfect place to just relax. The communication and check in process was a super easy too! It’ll be my place to stay when I visit Olympia in the future. Thank you!

Relaxing beach stay
Had a fabulous time visiting for my sons third birthday. The house itself is beautiful, well maintained, clean and relaxing. Theres a tram to get down to the house (which my kiddos thoroughly enjoyed) because the house sits right on the beach. At high tide the water was up to the retaining wall, at low tide we explored the beach and saw seals and some orca whales! We rented a pontoon from the marina, which is super close and boated out to the different inlets so beautiful! The fact that you can wake up to a sunrise right over the water, with a giant mountain in view! 10/10 would recommend

Magical location & very comfortable house
Our stay was so nice! From the dramatic tram entrance to the Mt. Rainier views, this little gem nestled near the top of Johnson’s Point was perfect for us! So relaxing to just sit by the water and stare at the view. Plenty of outdoor space to soak up the sun or stay cool in the shade. The hot tub views are incomparable! Even in hot weather (85 degrees+) the bedrooms stayed cool. Leaving a window or door open at night let’s the sound of the sound lull you to sleep (perfect screen placement helps 😉). 12/10 would definitely recommend!

Wonderful location with everything a family needs
We have 3 kids 5 and under, this house was perfect for them to explore the beach, the National Parks, and Olympia, including the Children’s Museum. The tram/trolley works perfectly and couldn’t be easier to operate, and the kids loved the ride.

We certainly enjoyed our stay :) kudos to the host for accommodating our change in dates.
We had originally scheduled for early November but had to move it back to December. Wished we could have enjoyed the outdoors and amenities more but none the less we cozied up and enjoyed just being together. Id like to go back in the summer!! Thank you to our host she was perfect! Cute place and exactly as pictured.

Pure Relaxation
First of all, the brand new cable-trolley is wonderful! We enjoyed using the stairs to the house as a little workout and to justify that much more snacking, but for hauling our things/food/trash/firewood/etc up and down -- the trolley is a dream! The water and wildlife are gorgeous, the sunrise view was unreal, the house was cleaned, stocked, and practical. The host was communicative, responsive and accommodating despite being on an international trip herself (plus, she still provided 2 additional contacts with the extensive welcome information). There were virtually no questions that could have arisen that weren't in the house manual or the welcome info, but when they did we received prompt and courteous responses. We couldn't have possibly fit in all that there is to enjoy in a few night stay and that was fine because the serenity and peace of this place is worth quietly soaking in. I would love to come back!

Great family vacation stay
Beautiful, quiet, and chic, this beach house went beyond our expectations. Our family had plenty of room to relax inside or out, enjoying morning views of wildlife and even a peek of Mt Ranier. The host was friendly and responsive and my kids keep asking when can we go back to the beach house. Location was also great and only 15-20 min from everything! Wonderful stay! Would definitely book again.

One of the Best!
Don't miss this cute and cozy beach house on the bay! It is a worth the long haul down to the house. (there is a tram coming that will make the stairs nearly a non issue) it is super clean and well equipped in every way. The beds and other furnishings are super comfy. It was hard to get out of those beds in morning. We are seasoned travelers and this is near the top of our list! Will gladly stay again!

Mother’s and toddlers weekend
Tracey is the best host I’ve ever met in our vacation rental experience and she made our stay extremely enjoyable and memorable. Her cottage beach home is so adorable with such a beautiful view! Our stay was so relaxing despite having 3 kids under 3 with us. On a sunny day you can see Mt Rainer in the distance to the northeast. We sat in the swing and watched the various birds fly by and even saw a seal playing in the ocean distance. It is such an idyllic and serene location on the water. The kids also enjoyed walking on the beach and collecting sea shells and finding crabs. The cottage is clean, and well equipped with everything. We were able to cook breakfast and spend the morning and evenings sipping on coffee and tea/wine relaxing in the yard overlooking the ocean and the islands. Tracey was very responsive and quickly answered a couple of questions I had. Just an overall perfect stay for all of us. Could not recommend it more! Will definitely return.

Amazing beach house
Perfect spot for a weekend getaway. House has everything one could want, kayaks on the beach, comfortable beds, great fire pit, even had a group of humpback whales cruise the beach while we were drinking coffee. Jeff and Tracy are great host! Can’t wait for our next trip back!

The views are spectacular.
The house is efficient, well equipped, private, and cozy. Our trip was in the winter and we had snow one day, rain on two days, and cold throughout the week. It did not detract from our stay at all. We were comfortable and the views were more dramatic every day. When not wet out, we bundled up for nice walks in the area and we were close to restaurants, grocery stores and everything we needed. The hot tub offers amazing views but it is a hike in the cold weather. Finally, the stairs are not for the faint of heart but it was totally doable for us (in our 60s) and not having to haul luggage due to the trolley, made it much easier. In fact, I had to chuckle at much younger neighbors riding their fancier trolley up and down while we were enjoying the hike. Jeff was so easy to deal with and stayed in touch, making sure everything was working out for us. We’d like to try this place in the summer to get out on the water and do more exploring. We’ve stayed in many rentals like this and this is high on our list as one of our favorites.

Tranquil oceanfront getaway
What a fantastic time we had. Whether it was the beach walks, falling asleep to the sound of the ocean or sitting on the porch swing in the morning, sipping coffee while viewing Mount Rainier, seabirds, seals, otters or a Cooper's Hawk. Jeff & Tracey really have a special retreat right on the ocean. Sitting in the hot tub with a panoramic view of the Puget Sound was awesome. We felt right at home and the kitchen was supplied with all the gadgets we needed to prepare our meals. There was plenty of room for the 4 adults in our group. We felt like we were on our own private island, but Safeway, Costco & some great restaurants were close by. Highly recommend.

Great home owners and a great place to stay
We had a wonderful time staying at this property. Jeff and Tracey were fantastic and very accommodating. The house is meticulously maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed barbecuing, kayaking, and picking blackberries along the road. It was peaceful and allowed us to retreat from the hustle and bustle of work, and recharge our batteries. Enjoy!

Wonderful family place.
Our family of five (including a 12 year-old, nine-year-old, and six-year-old) loved our stay at this location. We were only able to stay three nights, but on the first night we had the opportunity to watch seals feeding right off the back yard. The kids loved this. We also had a sunset view of Mt. Rainer that evening. The kids enjoyed watching the tide go in and out. We are from Mid-Missouri so they don't get those kinds of experiences. The location is secluded. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves. We caught a glimpse of a couple neighbors, but it was very peaceful there. However, Walmart, gas stations, etc. are only a few minutes drive away. The owners are very organized and helpful. They provided plenty of information before and during our stay to make us comfortable. The house is very clean and well-stocked. It was definitely worth the 2,000 mile drive.

What a great get-away spot
This was a great place. Wrong key to get in on arrival at 1 o'clock in the morning in the pouring rain caused some problems but beyond that was a wonderful stay. More than ample room, excellent location if you don't mind being out of town a bit, quiet neighborhood and nice amenities. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
