Second visit to this property and hopefully not the last. Loved every moment. Would definitely recommend. Olhao is currently going under lots of renovations which will enhance this lovely town even more. Good choice of restaurants all reasonably priced. Sorry to be home.

Perfect Stay in a perfect place
Only one word: Outstanding ! We have never been in such a perfect place during our holidays. Three weeks in this house was a gift ! Everything is there, all the small things like dishes, cups, pans, etc.. Everything is in a perfect shape. As well the interior, pictures, etc. is perfect. Televison as well, if you need it, is working perfect as well. You find a lot of TV channels. The complete house is a highlight, but on the top of the house you find a place where you can rest. A full equipped kitchen, a gas grill and you can cook the fresh fish from the market. Or only enjoy the sun and the view to the sea and over Olhao. A wonderful open air cinema with all the views which I cannot describe ! We will come back for sure ! Many thanks to Brigitte ! Obrigado !

Komfortabler Urlaub in stimmungsvoller Altstadt
Wir fühlten uns sofort wohl - geschmackvolle Einrichtung, genau wie auf den Bildern vermittelt. Überaus komplette Küchenausstattung - wir haben nichts vermisst. Dazu moderne Bäder und bequeme Betten. Das Highlight war für uns die Dachterrasse, die wir täglich genutzt haben. Wir waren immer wieder begeistert von dem Ausblick. Die Markise spendet Schatten wenn nötig. Klar, Treppensteigen ist notwendig! Das Haus liegt in der stimmungsvollen Altstadt, Markthallen, Restaurants, Geschäfte sind fußläufig erreichbar. Besonders erwähnen möchten wir den kleinen Supermercado um die Ecke, wo wir immer freundlich bedient wurden. Auch die Kommunikation mit dem freundlichen Vermieter war problemlos. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus
Wir waren schon oft in Olhao, haben aber noch nie in einem so perfekt ausgestatteten Haus übernachtet. Es ist super hell, freundlich und stylisch eingerichtet. Die Wohnräume erstrecken sich über drei Stockwerke und man braucht beim Treppensteigen eine gute Kondition. Das Highlight ist natürlich die Dachterrasse, welche wir auf Grund des tollen Wetters, auch ausgiebig nutzen konnten. Zudem liegt das Haus unweit von allem, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt. Unser Auto konnten wir ganz oft direkt vor dem Haus parken und wenn nicht, findet man garantiert in der unmittelbaren Umgebung einen Stellplatz. Da wir über Silvester dort waren, kamen wir auch in den Genuss einer portugiesischen Silvesterparty, die keine 200 m vom Haus entfernt, auf einer großen Bühne statt fand und uns viel Spaß machte :) Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war stets unkompliziert, entgegenkommend und sehr freundlich. Ein großes Dankeschön an Pierre und Brigitte, die uns einen wundervollen Urlaub in ihrem Ferienhaus ermöglichten.

Old Town Hideaway
Situated in the heart of the old town and only 5 min walk from our friends staying at the large near by hotel and 2 minutes from the market. Check in was smooth and directions clear. First impression was how clean the house was. All appliances, bedding and so on were also perfect. Great rooftop space for a chillout after a day at the beach. Thanks again Brigette for sharing your home.

Very comfortable and well equipped holiday house.
The property was very clean and extremely well equipped. We especially appreciated the provision of so much beach equipment - umbrellas, mats, towels, and a trolley to transport them in. Kitchen better equipped than my one at home, and very modern. Only drawback for us was the spiral staircase up to the roof terrace, which we found a bit daunting, especially during a thunderstorm! Great location, with so many restaurants within a few minutes walk, and the ferry terminal only ten minutes away.

House with a wonderful few
Wunderschön eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit allem erdenklichen Equipment mitten in der Altstadt von Olhão. 5min. Fußmarsch zur Hafenpromenade, den berühmten Markthallen und der Innenstadt. Zudem hat das Haus eine traumhaft schöne Dachterrasse mit Blick auf die Lagune und komplett ausgestatteter Küchenzeile mit Grill für chillige Barbecue-Abende. Sehr stilvoll eingerichtete Wohnung. Die Übergabe der Schlüssel erfolgte mit Non-Contact mittels eines Schlüsselkastens und PIN, Die Vermieter waren aber immer via WhatsApp erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Alles prima
Beste Lage für alle Aktivitäten in und um Olhao herum. Viele, sehr unterschiedliche Restaurant, kleine und grosse Supermärkte, der große Fisch- und Gemüsemarkt und der Fähranleger zu den Barrierinseln - alles ist leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das haus ist modern auf dem Stand der Technik und vor allem die Küche (inkl. Außenküche) perfekt ausgestattet. Das Highlight ist natürlich die große Dachterrasse, auf der bei schönen Wetter das Leben stattfindet. Wir haben uns schnell wie zuhause gefühlt und unseren langen Aufenthalt (4,5 Wochen) sehr genossen. Online-Kommunikation mit Brigitte war perfekt. Unbedingt weiterzuempfehlen!

Location parfaite
Maison exceptionnelle, la meilleure location que nous ayons jamais eu. Maison propre, équipements au top, il ne manque absolument rien, emplacement parfait, non loin de toute commodité et du centre historique et du marché mais très calme la nuit. Hôtes très gentils, attentifs et serviables. Bref rien à redire sauf que nous ne voulions plus partir et que nous reviendrons sûrement. Un grand merci à Brigitte .

Casa muito agradável e extremamente bem equipada.
Em pleno centro da cidade de Olhão, esta casa está muito bem recuperada, é confortável e está muito bem equipada. Os jantares na Açoteia contribuiram para umas férias excelentes.

Heerlijk huis in de heuvels
Prachtig, compleet en stijlvol huis met verschillende terrassen en ook nog een fijne open haard. Alleen de weg er naar toe is een kleine hindernis : stenen en zand en veel bochten.

Great house in excellent location
From other reviews, we expected the house to be good but were still surprised when we arrived: it is so stylish and well-equipped and the roof terrace is delightful. We had not realised that we were staying near the centre of the town . This is very convenient for visits to the many excellent and good value restaurants and catching a ferry to the islands but does make parking a problem - especially arriving late morning , as we did. In the evening it is just about possible to get a space fairly near to the house but not during the day. The town is very friendly , restaurants excellent and it is a very easy journey from the airport. We enjoyed trips to the nature reserve, neighbouring towns and by boat to the islands. House and Olhao highly recommended. Owners respond quickly to enquiries and check that all is well during your stay -excellent service.

Tolle, großzügige Wohnung im Herzen von Olhao
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und uns ganz wie zuhause gefühlt - nur noch besser ;-). Die schöne, hochwertige EInrichtung und der tolle Blick über die Dächer von Olhao sind einmalig.

Super Unterkunft ! Tolle Lage !
Das Haus ist wirklich schön renoviert. Es ist modern eingerichtet, sauber und super ausgestattet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Dachterrasse ist ein Traum. Wir haben hier jeden Morgen gern gefrühstückt . Das Haus befindet sich zentral in der Altstadt von Olhão. Man kann alles super zu Fuß erreichen. Auch der Kontakt zu Brigitte war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Sowohl vor, als auch wärend des Aufenthaltes. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft gerne weiter !

Au top.
Maison magnifique. Tout confort, aussi bien qu'à la maison. Le toit terrasse est un vrai plus. Très bien située, tout se fait à pied (restaurant, bar, marché au poisson). Tout est pensé pour le voyageur, Brigitte a laissé de nombreux guides et notes personnelles pour orienter les sorties. Je recommande fortement cette adresse.

Maison très bien pensée
Cette maison a été très bien rénovée, très bien conçue. Il n'y manque rien, et elle est très bien située. Le bémol serait l'accès à la terrasse pour les personnes sujettes au vertige, et le quartier quelque peu bruyant.

Très belle maison au coeur du quartier historique
Maison spacieuse à étages au cœur du centre historique d'Olhão, à côté du front de mer, des restaurants, du départ des bateaux pour les plages. Possibilité de faire beaucoup de choses à pied, parking aisé dans la rue. Coup de cœur pour la décoration, tout est fait avec énormément de goût. Maison hyper bien équipée, rangement en suffisance dans les chambres, propreté irréprochable. Air conditionné dans les pièces principales, non négligeable en plein été même si les températures étaient raisonnables pendant notre séjour fin juillet. Tenir compte des différents niveaux de la maison, on monte et on descend souvent mais ça ne nous a pas gênés, au contraire, on fait de l’exercice. Très gai de profiter de la grande terrasse sur le toit pour prendre les repas ou lire, avec vue sur le front de mer. Cependant, je déconseillerais ce logement aux familles avec de jeunes enfants. Gentillesse et disponibilité de Brigitte, la propriétaire, un carnet de bienvenue avec les bonnes adresses du coin et de la région, tout est mis en place pour que les visiteurs passent un agréable séjour. Après avoir passé une première semaine près de Sagres dans un village assez isolé, c’était gai de profiter de la vie d’Olhão, commune ni trop grande ni trop petite, qui ne donne pas l’impression de ne vivre que pour accueillir les touristes. Une adresse et une destination à retenir et recommander sans hésitation.
