The Fuseta, according to the oldest historical reports dating from 1572, was known as “Fozeta” (diminutive of mouth) which would have originated from the fact that there was a stream called “trunk brook”.
The main activity of this village continues to be fishing and its derivatives, nowadays the tourism is due to the beach, the proximity of the island of Armona-Fuseta and the campsite that welcomes hundreds of visitors in the summer.
