"A unique and wonderful experience."

"I spent a month on the houseboat called “Salty Dog”. I had my 20 lb puppy, Tilly with me and a friend who is a professional pet sitter came and joined us a few times. Two things really impressed me. 1., the boat was superbly equipped as if ready for a long range voyage and 2. The neighbors were all Salties - creative, fun, and helpful. Proximity to everything from a grocery store , laundry and to a pub and a bunch of great local restaurants all within walking distance was great. Parking was easy...

"We stayed on this boat in early March and it was 43-45 degrees at night. There were recurrent power issues with the boat and we were not able to use the space heater or hot water most of the time. If I didn’t have the foresight to bring our winter camping gear, my son and I would have been freezing all night. "I have no concerns with the property it's a very pleasant place to stay with an awesome view of the ocean. This February we had very unusual warm weather it would be nice to have a fan to where we could get some air circulation 72 was not what I thought I was going to get but it did not take away from the quality place so either bring one if the weather is going to be super warm or perhaps one could be purchased and left in the downstairs closet.withawawesome awesome view of the ocean"

"Pros:-Excellent access to a great beach (Upton Beach).-Bed was comfortable, although seemed small for a queen.-Cottage was clean, but did have a musty smell.-Good communication.Cons:-Very cold with only space heaters provided, which we weren't comfortable running while we slept. One could only be plugged into a specific outlet and barely put out any heat. -Outside light does not work and it is VERY dark when arriving at night. Dangerous, especially those of us with mobility issues.-Most rentals...

"My husband and I had our son and granddaughter staying with us. The access to the beach right out our door was so perfect for my sand loving, wave hopping preschooler!The kitchen was sufficient for our meals that were prepared as we went. It is within walking distance to downtown Stinson, where we enjoyed latte’s and treats. My son was able to crab fish right out our front door, and we were thrilled to be able to enjoy the fruit of his labor. Perfect!"
