"I was greeted kindly upon arrival and allowed to check in early which I appreciated greatly. Unfortunately the place wasn’t too clean, I found that my towels were stained and one side of one of my pillows also had some unsavoury marks. "Lenny (the dog) and his humans host a truly wonderful B&B. It is a truly beautiful mix of old and new, everything is charming and comfortable and well done. Reg and Sue know the area well and are happy to sit for a chat and make recommendations. It was the high point of an 8-day journey in France and I cannot recommend it enough. "

"Je ne recommande pas du tout cette chambre d'hôte. Pour moi chambre d'hôte c'est en compagnie de l'habitant. Pas même un verre d'eau offert à l'arrivée. Réception de nos chambres et le propriétaire est reparti en verrouillant toutes les pièces sauf nos chambres, refusant l'accès à la cuisine, nous indiquant qu'il n'était pas un gîte ! si j'avais su j'aurai choisi un gîte ! pas même de quoi se faire une tisane, pas de frigo. 2 chambres.Et il revenait marcher à 8h du matin au dessus de nos têtes....

"On arrival we were told that they were overbooked (admitted it was their mistake), we were taken to another house which was about 5k away. Which was comfortable enough for one night. There was plenty food and wine but the food was very simple fare.On our final evening we were told food would not be available, so had to eat in a restaurant about 5k away, we think we would like to try Chambres D'hote again as we enjoyed sharing a meal with all the other guests."
