Come relax in this almost hundred-year-old house in a quiet neighborhood, close to many amenities. This little house was built with no kitchen or bathroom, fortunately you get to enjoy the recently added-on conveniences of a full kitchen and bath!
Cozy up on the couch in the living room and stream your favorites on the smart TV.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the essentials as well as some coffee, tea, and sugar that we keep on hand if you need a pick-me-up after arriving. There is a bar-height table that seats four in the kitchen.
For any families with small children, there is a booster seat that can be attached to a kitchen chair available for your use. And there is a pack-n-play with clean sheets that can be set up in the purple bedroom. Please let us know if you plan to use either of these and we will get them set up for you!
You have access to the whole house, driveway, and fenced-in backyard. There is a small deck in the backyard.
This house is on a quiet residential side street with walking distance access to the DeMerritt Forest Trail System which goes to the University of Maine.
Less than a mile from downtown Old Town in one direction and less than a mile from a grocery store, hardware store, and laundromat in the other direction. The University of Maine in Orono is 2.5 miles away, downtown Orono with coffee shops and restaurants is 4 miles.
The Waterfront Concerts at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor is a 20 minute drive away.
Beautiful Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park are 1 hour away, perfect for a day trip!
The driveway fits two cars, there is room for a third to park just off the street in front of the house as long as there is no snow.
The stairs going to the purple bedroom are very steep and may not be suitable for someone with mobility issues.
The house is not fully baby proofed. If you need any baby proofing for your stay, please bring your own devices with you.
Weekly and monthly stays are welcome.
