Great apartment with a balcony view over the bay. Spacious and comfortable. Well located for trips up and down the Dalmatian coast by car, and easy boat trips to Trogir and on to Split. The route up through the Krka national park and on to Knin was also enjoyable.

Lovely apartment with a fantastic view.
The apartment is in a great position overlooking the bay at Okrug Gornji. It is really well appointed and has everything you need. The view from the balcony is amazing and is perfect from the swing seat! It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach which has a nice choice of bars and restaurants. The ferry to Trogir is also convenient which enables a visit to either Trogir or the option to take the regular ferry to Split. We hired a car for part of our stay and the apartment has plenty of parking which is a bonus in Croatia. The host, Cynthia is very helpful, always responding promptly to any messages. We had a great holiday!!

Great apartment
The apartment was ideal for a couple and the views from the balcony were stunning especially the sunsets. It was a great place to chill out with a book and glass of wine. The village and beach were great with lots of places to eat, have a coffee or a drink. Would recommend Mali Raj for dinner, we went several times. Loved the water taxi to Torig which is a must see and more lovely places to eat and drink. We loved our water trip to Split which is stunning and had to go back for a second visit. Apartment is ideal re location although be aware it is quite a long steep hill, best not tackled in heat of the day. Overall had a great holiday, our first visit to Croatia but will definitely be back.

Amazing sunset views
We had a fantastic time at this beautiful apartment, the apartment itself is spotlessly clean and everything you may need for your holidays is available if required. The views from the balcony are amazing and you won't tire of sitting watching the day go by up there, or taking sunset photos!! The area itself is quite but the beach area which is a mere 5-10 mins walk is lively with numerous beach bars and plenty of restaurants and even more restaurants in Trogir a 15min water taxi ride away (20 kuna each) We walked to Trogir in less than half an hour , we went to Krka water falls which were beautiful but as we travelled in July too many people to be able to see it properly and we arrived there at 9.15am !! If you travel in quieter months I'm sure it would be much better. Primosten was a lovely quaint village 30 mins drive and Split is 30-40 mins depending on traffic. When in split go up to the Marjhan hills it's a fantastic view. One tip when driving on the island use the new bridge and turn left at the first roundabout and follow signs for Okrug Gorni it's much quicker and alot less traffic. All in all a great holiday thank you Cynthia

Great Apartment
We had a lovely stay at the apartment, it has all the you need for a comfortable holiday. The air-com was most welcome in the evenings. The views are beautiful we spent time watching the boats and the sunset. The water taxi to Trogir is a 10 minute journey. Where you can catch the boat to Split a great day out. Okrug Gornji is a lovely quiet area of Ciovo with beach bars, quiet beaches and small shops.. The apartment is on a steep hill but we soon got used to it and took a taxi back a couple of times.Well worth the effort as the views are spectacular from terrace The apartment wants for nothing and we hope to return soon.

FANTASTIC APARTMENT
This one bedroom apartment has the best view from it's balcony from anywhere we have ever stayed! The sunsets are to die for and we spent so much time just watching the boats. There are plenty of Beach Bars and Restaurants but we enjoyed taking the Water Taxis from the small harbour to Trogir, a lovely Roman Town with a great market and lots of small shops and restaurants and only a ten minute ride. The apartment is on a steep hill but we would walk down and take a taxi back up, very reasonable!!! We also took a Ferry on from Trogir to Split, a gorgeous, bustling Roman City. The apartment wants for nothing and the aircon is very efficient. A great find!

Lovely Apartment
Had a super stay at the Penthouse View Apartment, everything was as described in the literature, with every home comfort being made available. I just hope that the island of Ciovo and the resort of Okrug Gornji stays the same, and doesn't grow too quickly. Its a very family orientated resort, and has plenty to offer for everyone.

Penthouse Apartment is very clean, tidy, cosy and comfortable.
Pent House View is a fantastic apartment with superb views over the bay. We had a thoroughly relaxing week and would highly recommend this apartment. We walked to Trogir a couple of times which was fine in terms of distance but a bit of a test in terms of safety as you have to walk on the road for part of the way. Everybody we spoke to from shop keepers to bus drivers were very friendly and spoke good English which was a massive help to both us and them. They certainly didn't seem to mind anyway. All in all Croatia is a fabulous country and I'm sure we will return.

The ups and downs of a Croatian Holiday
If you are looking for a taste of beautiful Croatia then this is the apartment to come to. This property on Okrug Gornji was as described . It was comfortable, clean, and well equipped with a view to die for. Our breakfasts were transformed as we started the day on the balcony looking out over the bay and sparkling clear blue sea. The little town of Okrug has a great beach with small white pebbles. Sitting on a sun lounger, reading a book and dipping in to the clean sea became a favourite occupation. There are plenty of small bars if you fancy a beer or some lunch. Neighbouring Trogir with its medieval cobbled streets quickly became the evening destination, catching the water taxi across the bay was just the prelude to the evening. Sitting by the bay watching the ships go by with a drink in one of the harbour side bars was just what was needed. There are many great restaurants to pick and choose from depending on what you fancy. However, prepare yourself as the 'down' side is the steep walk back up to the apartment after a day or evening out.The payoff is the fabulous view when you arrive home and the wonderful sunsets.

A fantastic week away in a clean and well equipped apartment it felt like home away from home.
First impressions were that the apartment was bigger than expected and how clean and high quality the living and kitchen area was. Stepping out onto the balcony was a wow moment as we took in the view, most evenings were spent watching the sun go down from here with a meal and watching the lights twinkling all around the bay. The swimming was great and the walk back up to the apartment was best tackled in the evening when the heat had abated somewhat. A trip by boat across to Trogir was cheap and easy giving access to more restaurants, bars, shops and shade. Thankyou to Cynthia, Bozena and Mr V for a great hassle free holiday.

Fantastic location
This is a fantastic place to stay, the views are unbelievable. Yes the walk back from the beach gets to breathing well but this just means you can walk off the evening meal and cocktails. The property is at the top of a hill but this then gives you easy access to the two sides of the island as this is situated at the thinnest part, one side busier that the other. Lots of supermarkets within about 10 -15 mins walk and a great bakery in the centre of the village. We took the very regular water ferry to Trogir most evenings as the atmosphere was great, the ferry cheap and a very pleasant way to finish the evening. So many restaurants in Trogir in a maze of little streets and alleyways. Sip a cocktail while looking at the super cruisers in the harbour. The owners were very prompt in answering any questions and we were picked up by the recommended taxi Mr V who was superb and entering the property was very easy. I would highly recommend this property to anyone unless you have issues with walking up hill.

Penthouse View
Just arrived back from a weeks stay at the Penthouse View apartment. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Set on a testing hill in Okrug Gornji the views from the balcony are wonderful. Pour yourself a wine and relax on the swing chair and watch the sun go down a perfect end to the day. There are two walks down to the sea the one we preferred although slightly longer was through the small village where there is a supermarket, bakery and a small market selling vegetables and fruit. Locals meet at the local cafe bar for there morning coffee and all very friendly. On the seafront there are many bars and restaurants. Our favourite was Leonardos. The food was delicious and very good portions are served at a good price. I had lovely steaks there and also mussels and the best fried Calamari I have had anywhere. My wife loved the fillets of sea wolf fish they served which she thought was lovely. You can hire sunbeds from 3 Kunas a day and the sea is so good to swim in. The weather all week was just fantastic. We have been to Croatia the last three years and it has always been the same in June. Although only at this wonderful apartment for the week we visited Trogir the small island joining the mainland to Ciovo which is just lovely and also Split. You can either get to Trogir walking which takes around 40 minutes or just take the cheap water taxis at 20 kunas which is much better. From Trogir you can then also go by ferry 35 kunas which is a half hour journey and worth a visit. Our favourite trip was to the Krka Waterfalls. What an amazing place this is and a must for anyone visiting. We got to these by taxi with Maria who is Mr Vs wife the guy who will pick you up from the airport if required at a reasonable price. The trip to the falls was cheaper than an organised tour and is private to yourselves and you get picked up when your ready. One tip when your there is you get a ferry to the falls from your drop off point and you can also get back by ferry. We actually walked back which took about one and a half hours with a stop for a picnic we had took with us. The walk is about 4 Kms long but the views are fantastic and you would miss them if you returned by ferry. Sorry for the long review but the stay was lovely. A very big thank you to Cynthia for allowing us to stay in this lovely apartment and to Bozena for welcoming us when we arrived. ( sorry if I got your name wrong Bozena ) Thank you.

Wonderful Apartment - Fantastic Sunsets
The apartment had every home comfort that you would want. It was very clean and very well maintained. The owner provided us with a lot of information before we went - which was useful. It was lovely sitting out on the balcony watching the beautiful sunsets. However the dates that we went 17th - 27th Sept - the building ban for the Summer was over so nearly everyday, (well the days that we had a 'local' day and apart from the weekend), there was a digger working nearby cutting through rock so that they could build a swimming pool. It did spoil things a little. One day it didn't stop until 6.00pm. You need to be fit to rent this apartment - 40 steps (5 flights) up to the front door and apartment on the top of a steep hill (or have a car). However the roads are very narrow and loads of scooters, so driving was a nightmare. Having said all this we did have a lovely relaxing holiday. Great visits to Split, Hvar and the blue cave. We really enjoyed the little ferry to Trogir - spent most of our time here. Beautiful town with some fantastic restaurants.

Beautiful apartment with stunning views
We stayed here for a week and it was perfect! Mr V was waiting for us from the airport as arranged and dropped us at the apartment where we where met by Bozina, a really friendly lady. The apartment has everything in it that you should ever need and was beautifully clean and tidy when we arrived. The views from the apartment are stunning and the sunsets to die for. The apartment is up high and if you weren't fit when you arrive, you will be when you leave... It was so easy to get from the beach to Trogir by water taxi, cost 20 Kuna each way per person. The water taxi is such a lovely way to get to and fro as it provides a cooling breeze and is so relaxing. Trogir is great with tiny streets and plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from to suit any budget. The trip into Split was easy too on the number 37 local bus, although we did return on the ferry which provided a fabulous cruise back to Trogir. There is lots to do and see in this area of Croatia, but also there is the opportunity to just relax and do nothing. We would definitely return and be most happy to stay in this lovely apartment again.

Lovely apartment with great views
The apartment was lovely. Modern with all amenities. Clean and very comfortable. The balcony was great with table, chairs and swing for up to three people. Wonderful to relax there, drink a glass of wine and watch the beautiful scenery. The whole are was lovely, very typically Croation with plenty of delicious places to eat or buy food. The main beach was clean and the water clear with many places to sit and sun beds for cheap hire. Even huge parasols near some of the bars to shade whole families. Many are not charged if you are patrons of the bar but prices very good. lots of fresh salad, fish and local delicacies such as calamari - delicious! The ferries are very regular and cheap to Trogir which is an old town with lots of small shops and market, more bars and restaurants. The only drawback to the apartment was that there is a steep walk on the road, up from the beach but that means you can eat more delicious croissants for breakfast with no guilt! We really loved it and were very sad to leave. We would definitely go back again for another relaxing break and would recommend it to others.

What a fantastic apartment and wonderful place Croatia is. The people of Croatia are lovely and warm
Myself and wife stayed for one week and the only problem was it wasn't long enough! The apartment was well maintained, clean and in a great location for shops, restaurants and the beaches. To top it all off the view from the balcony looking over the bay was simply stunning from sun rise to sunset. (Camera at the ready!) Local restaurants offered every dish you could think of, and every meal was so delicious. If you love fish then you can't go wrong. We went on a trip to the national water parks seeing the stunning water falls and was a great day out that is highly recommended. We had a quad bike experience that took you out through the countryside to give you a different view of the Island, again worth a booking. We walked over to the old town which was beautiful. Great restaurants, shops and markets to see. We had a coastal walk which took us too beaches that had clear blue waters and great for sunbathing. Restaurants were along the way a must for a glass of wine or beers looking out to sea. Just writing this review makes me want to go back again, thank you to Cynthia and family for a wonderful week, one that me and my wife will always remember. Looking forward to going back very soon.

Excellent well equipped apartment with a stunning aspect
We visited Okrug for two weeks from 11th - 25th June 16. The whole communication and booking process was easy and very informative and the owner provided detailed information on-line and a wide ranging library of detail on the area and its attractions within the apartment. The resort contacts were both very welcoming and reliable. The apartment was very clean, had all the facilities wished for and some welcome supplies were provided. Views from the balcony are awesome and we enjoyed evenings watching the sundown with a glass or two. The resort is linked to Trogir by frequent water taxis which run from early morning to midnight giving the opportunity to dine in the excellent restaurants there. We visited Split and the wonderful island of Hvar by boat from Trogir . We recommend the trip to Krka for which a pick up from Okrug can be arranged. The beach in Okrug was quiet enough in June - beach shoes required. We enjoyed the other side of the island where access to the sea is easy and the snorkeling enjoyable. We had meals at the Mali Raj and Leonardos and were impressed with both. We had a fantastic holiday and can recommend the apartment and the area very highly M&J REDMAYNE
