I needed help using the washer and dryers very early in the morning, but the gentleman at the front desk took special care to drop what he was doing and aid me in getting my laundry completed properly. "Had a wonderful time staff is absolutely fantastic. The place is clean safe and very friendly. The beds are comfortable. Didn’t care to much for the blackout drapes ( I like total darkness when I sleep) these are see through a little. The bathroom and showers are clean private. Will stay again . The staff really makes the difference you can tell they take pride in there work o lots of steps have a bad knee but pushed through keep in mind with large luggage.. staff helped an old man out .....

"Considering the price point and location, our stay was excellent. Having read previous reviews I was scared of lack of cleanliness. However, it is not very dirty. We found no bed bugs in our beds and our room was well-kept and cleaned before we arrived. Since it is a hostel (and not a resort), we had no housekeeping and had to share bathrooms but we knew this before booking our stay. The shower for women specifically is actually quite nice with provided shampoo and body wash. Unfortunately...

"Very friendly hosts who are multilingual, my Japanese isn't very good but the staff was able to communicate in English and help me find tickets that I ordered online. Our plane was also late coming in but we were able to arrange self check-in for when we arrived and sorted out the details in the morning. Thank you again!"

"What can I say. It’s like living in a Japanese beach house. Totally awesome. The staff is now considered friends. And the residents are great group of people. I was looking for a place to slow down and save some money for my travels and this is the place stayed 3 months and had beach days every day. Beds are tatami so yes hard but my back never felt better. A/C was frosty being able to cook meals a plus and learned some new recipes from staff guests residents. Got totally bombed on awamori (...
