The Point House Wairoro Park - Russell Home

The Point House is a 2 bedroom holiday home unit. Located in Russell’s Wairoro Park, both you and your pets are welcome to enjoy the large native grounds and private beach. This is an ideal option for a peaceful getaway to the stunning Bay of Islands.

This unique multilevel A-Frame unit offers comfortable family accommodation with 2 bedrooms upstairs one with a king bed and one with 2 singles. And downstairs, open plan kitchen, dinning, lounge with a fold out sofa, full kitchen (no dishwasher) and full bathroom, a covered deck, BBQ and outdoor furniture.

Spend days at the private beach onsite. Set yourself up at the picnic table or enjoy the complimentary Kayaks and paddle board. Be sure to keep watch for Kiwi and Weka living in the surrounding native bush. The Point House also has a large rural property with facilities shared between guests accommodation.

The Russell to Okiato walk crosses the rear of the property and offers spectacular ocean views. If you’re coming across from the Opua ferry, this tranquil holiday park is situated just 2km away. Head over to Russell for the day, just 7 minutes drive and while your there jump on the ferry to Paihia. For a piece of New Zealand, Waitangi is less than 5 minutes from Paihia.

Please note that there is a 1.5 km gravel driveway into Wairoro Park, with a max speed limit of 30km/hr.As the internal stairs only have one barrier, all guests should use the handrail provided and children should always be supervised when on and around these stairs to prevent potential falls.Please note the washing machine at this property is part of an external shared laundry.Please note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year. Family getaway
Such a great spot for a family with kids. We could start the day and end the day in the bay and head off to the east coast beaches in between. Lovely location.

Wairoro Park is a lovely setting amongst the bush.
Wairoro Park is a lovely setting amongst the bush. Only a short distance from the Russell Car Ferry. We heard Kiwi and many other birds. The house was warm and comfortable with good amenities. Beds comfortable. Only downside was the lack of internet. Did manage some access for important things with mobile hotspot, phone coverage was good. Short drive into Russell. Just a note that the car ferry is $12.50 each way so an extra expense, but much better than the long way around and dirt road

We loved the house.
We loved the house. The view across the grounds to the beach was lovely and our dog was so happy to be able to move around freely. The facilities at the beach were just what we wanted and added to our break. The house had a lovely deck where we spent a lot of time enjoying the view and the fresh air. We'll be back, for certain.

The little cabin we had was AMAZING!
The little cabin we had was AMAZING!! :) :) beautiful views and everything was provided!! People were friendly and the environment was relaxing and soooooo enjoyable!! We tried to stay longer but it was booked out ! We definitely would like to return. Both my partner and I absolutely loved it there - and so did the rest of our family!

The property was fantastic with heaps to do & very relaxing.
The property was fantastic with heaps to do & very relaxing. The Chalet was very well equipped & we loved the covered & fenced balcony where we spent most of our time. I've already recommended you to some friends & we'll be back! The description of the property though didn't indicate to me that there was more than just our Chalet & Beryl's. This didn't pose an issue but caught us by surprise when we realised there were other families & dogs there too.

Bach was absolutely beautiful.
Bach was absolutely beautiful. Loved the private beach and I also really liked the fenced deck area we had. The bach was well equipped and cosy. Would highly recommend this bach for dog owners. We felt very lucky to be able to bring our dog with us, thank you for that.
