I’ve stayed at this Comfort Inn many times. Only one time we had any issues with our check in. There was a new person at the deck that time and we were charged twice for the room.

The hotel was filthy. There was a pile of dirty towels in a corner of my room and i suspect the sheets were not changed. They were wrinked and had dirt on them. I slept on to of the made bed.

It would’ve been nice if they had hot coffee and fresh muffins, the eggs were undercooked. The staff had given me my towels un folded when I went to get them. Otherwise no one bothered me it was a quiet stay.

They gave me a room for the disabled. I did not request those amenities. There were shear curtains at the window and I was on the ground floor. Anyone driving by could see into the room. The toilet seat was loose. The shower had rust on the safety railing. The shower head would not move up. There was tape on the back of the remote.

The hotel was just fine. We ended up here after waiting too late to book our MSU family weekend hotel. The walls are paper thin and we could hear everything going on inside and out. At 4am there was a disturbance outside that continued for quite sometime with no intervention from the hotel staff. The police easily could have been called for noise disturbance but were not. We will be finding another location next time we are in the Lansing area.

Just try another hotel.
Bed was springy... Furniture was bamged up and in disrepair, such as the corner chair with the ripped arm.. Steps leading to 2nd floor from lobby were full of debris and havent seem a steam cleaner in years... Parking was ok. Front desk check very quick...

Dated rooms, not the cleanest
When I walked in the lobby, my initial impression was it smelled like someone had been smoking weed. There were potato chip crumbs on the stairs leading to the 2nd floor in the lobby and they were there for the duration of our 2 night stay. That alone tells me cleaning is not high on the priority list there. Beds were ok. Breakfast offerings were fine. First night there was a really loud group outside until after midnight. The AC unit was quite loud though so that was able to drown out the yelling and loud talking that was going on.

The check in went smooth and the young man at the desk very friendly. The room was nice, beds were comfortable, but the bathroom was dirty when we went in (hair in the sink, counter had something on it and threshold was extremely dirty) Also in the hallway to the conference room there was a pile of dust, looked like someone had emptied a vacuum cleaner. This remained in the hallway the entire time i was there.
