Rim Canal Cottage 'Yellow House' with Canal Views & Boat Dock by RedAwning

_NO PARTIES_ : What keeps guest coming back to us is the peace and quiet they

get from being on CANAL WAY. We would like to keep it that way. We don’t

want to spook the fish.



This quaint but well-appointed cottage sits right off of Rim Canal, with lock

access into Lake Okeechobee.



There are two cottages on the property - this one is the "KEY WEST” named for

it's lovely Southern most color. We invite you to relax and unwind from every

day life while enjoying the many outdoor activities in this part of Florida -

fishing is our main attraction, and guests will even have access to a boat

dock on the canal. Both cottages have the latest in Wi-Fi technology and

internet Roku TV featuring NETFLIX among many other channels, so you can watch

movies after having a day full of outdoor activities.



The KEY WEST COTTAGE has a bedroom with one Queen bed and a Twin Bed. There

is a Leather Sofa that can be easily converted or folded into yet another twin

bed. It has a small, but adequate full bathroom with shower. There is a

kitchen with oven and stovetop, microwave and refrigerator. We welcome you to

also enjoy the outdoor BBQ grill and cook up your delicious catch of the day!



**PROPERTY IS BIG ENOUGH FOR YOU TO PARK YOUR TRUCK AND BOAT TRAILER.** You

can connect your boat battery trickle charger to a wall outlet under the

carport. No worries about that.



What we have here on Canal Way is a quiet place you can call home while you

are here. We ask that you don’t play loud music past 6pm.



The property is located at the Northwestern tip of Lake Okeechobee, not far

from Port St. Lucie. It is also located about an hour and a half from

Kissimmee and all of it's attractions, including Walt Disney World, which is

only one hour and 45 minutes away.

Our trip was amazing. We loved our views with the canal as our backyard. Very quiet only heard the wind an occasional boat and palm leaves waving in the wind. If you want beauty and peace it’s the place to go. We already scheduled Thanksgiving holiday here. Our host Joyce is beyond helpful and kind. 5 stars

It was a perfect place for my dad and myself to stay while fishing big O. Super close to boat ramps and canal access by locking through if needed. Great carport for boat storage. We couldn’t have had any place else work better for us.

Wonderful, quiet, on the canal weekend get away. Nice little home with plenty of space. Fishing off the dock right in the back yard. Would definitely recommend this place. Great price!

Great price and location
Worst bed I have ever slept in. It is completely worn out and it sags to the middle. We booked for two nights and stayed one because of the lack of a decent bed. The toaster oven and microwave are pretty dirty. No ice maker. No sugar for coffee, so bring some. The living room chair had dirt on it and the kitchen chairs were dirty. The sheets were clean but the ac hadn’t been running so the bedding was damp first day but then we were able to get them dry. Location is good for fishing.

Was disappointed when pulled because of debris and trash around building. Once we met our hostess and looked inside everything was better. All just needed a little TLC. Refrigerator went out while we were there but was replaced immediately

So peaceful
We had a great time ! Raul and MissJoyce were awesome Miss Joyce the property mgr is right across the street so anything we needed she was there. It’s so peaceful and relaxing we were able to fish off the dock and the boat ramp is right up the street next time we’re taking our boat. Try them out you’ll love them!
