"The room itself was amazing! Beautiful and high end. The bonus of the barrel sauna across from our room was lovely. The big disappointment was the deplorable condition of the hot tub. It is cracked and broken, none of the jets work and was only warm. The hot tub did not meet my expectations at all. It needs to be replaced ASAP. "

"Wonderful motel about 1 km out of Fox Glacier toward Lake Matheson. Checkin was great, host provided map of both Fox Glacier & Franz Joseph. Our suite was spacious, in room kitchenette / living room with large comfy sofa, 2 bedrooms & bath/shower. Overall very comfortable & nice. "

"This was a hostel type hotel with private rooms available with on suite. close to the town (5 minutes walk) the room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Air conditioning was available and good. Bath room was a bit small but the shower was really good and hot water plentiful. The views from the property were breathtaking especially the snow-capped mountains all around."

"This place is a gem. Clean, spacious, warm and comfortable. Close to the glaciers and trails, surrounded by restaurants and cafes. Also has window screens! That’s the first time we’ve seen this in three weeks of travel throughout NZ. Highly recommend this place. "

"This was probably our favorite place to stay in New Zealand. It's out of town so you definitely need a car, but the rooms are HUGE and modern and comfortable and immaculate. Unbelievably quiet at night. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh and delicious with a nice variety. The person who managed check-in was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat."
