"This is an exceptional property, beautifully restored from a sprawling 17th century Catalan farmhouse. The couple that run it are very engaging and helpful and the food, prepared by the husband, is simply outstanding. It is very much in the country and a great place to relax and disconnect, which was what we wanted from the experience. If you want a more urban experience, this is not the place for you, but we just loved it. It was stunning."

"Friendly welcome and nice rooms with comfy bed and fabulous shower. The outside space is a bonus and much appreciated by our dog. The evening meal menu is very limited and there are no vegetarian options which is a shame. "

"The hosts Helen and Joan are lovely and very helpful. This is a great location for exploring this lovely area. The swimming pool was great for a dip and the cottage is as described. Very peaceful and rural. We took a few days to adjust as it is rustic and local mossies liked to bite us! Fab restaurant La Trobada a few mins away and lovely walks nearby through Walnut orchards. Figueres(Dali Museum) and Costa Brava short drives away. We loved swimming in Banyoles lake. Go to Platya de La Rovina if you have dogs. Fine dining at La Tartana.."
